Defense from Anathema Method.

In the hands of regular Terrestrials, it's gross.

In the hands of Immaculates, it is an offense against the Celestial Order.

What I don't like about this is: What's Anathema? I mean, does it work on Siderials? If the Empress reappeared and forgave the Solars, saying they were to be rounded up for 'training' and integration into the Realm, would the charm stop working on Solars? If DB was helping a Solar, would this charm work on them?
It's obvious what this is for, so the ST can throw one Immaculate at a circle of Solars and get a good fight. However, you don't need over powered charms for that, just make the Immaculate really old.(Exalted allows a MAist of almost infinite power, simply by mastering more and more styles. You are unlikley to run out here.)

It applies a political definition to mechanical effect, which just seems weird. What I'd probably do is reduce the effect by half and say it works on everyone. Then you don't have to worry about weather Alchemicals are Ananthema or not, considering nobody knew they existed when it was made.

In my game, "Anathema" would be anyone wielding Celestial-level Charms or magics. This includes Solars, Lunars, Sidereals, Abyssals, Alchemicals, whoever. It would not work against Fair Folk glamour, etc.

The funny thing is that according to this definition it WOULD work against Immaculate martial arts, which may be a ticking time-bomb of revelation hiding in the Order.... -- BillGarrett
