=== Character Description ===

Onyx Blossom is the daughter of a mortal Thaumaturge and Zsofika, the Kite Flute. As the capstone on a life of Infernal study, the Thaumaturge summoned Zsofika to dispose of a powerful enemy. She deigned to come but demanded, as is her wont, that he give her a child in payment. When she left the baby with him, he thought he had come out well in the deal, and raised Onyx Blossom to be a lackey and concubine. Unfortunately for him, Onyx inherited a good deal of her mother's bloodthirsty nature and slew him (with extreme prejudice) as soon as she was able - just as Zsofika intended as revenge for the temerity to summon her. Now Onyx roams the Threshold, following her Whispers to seek out and kill those stupid enough to truck with the Infernal. She hates her father and what he did to her, and hates herself for being a mere tool of revenge, and she would make sure none like her are ever created again.

Onyx is, to those who know their demonic lore, clearly her mother's daughter. Although her coloring is somewhat lighter, she shares Zsofika's dark skin and red hair, and her large eyes are orange. She is only a shade over 5 feet in height, and favors clothing in red. Although she seems perhaps a bit more worldly than most 19-year-old girls, she is often underestimated. The change from apparent doe-eyed innocence to sudden and shockingly extreme violence, however, can be quite stunning. She wields a great mace with a head of black jade, nearly as tall as she is.
