= Heaven & Earth Spear =<br />
<br />
The spear is the King of All Weapons, its long shadow commands the battlefield, within its expansive reach it does not abide by physical law, it <i>defines</i> physical law! Seven feet overall, fashioned of starmetal, with subtle decoration in the form of obscure symbols and statements taken from forgotten legal codes, the Heaven & Earth Spear is a badge of office, declaring its bearer both a master of the law of battle and an agent of Heaven's inscrutable will.<br />
<br />
Meant to be wielded in the defence of Heaven or Creation, increasing its Damage rating by (the wielder's permanent Essence rating) against creatures of Malfeas, the Wyld, or the Underworld.<br />
<br />
Additionally, the Exalt can consecrate the weapon to a specific cause, a specific enemy of Creation. This requires a prayer to Mars at a difficulty determined by the Storyteller, based on how likely the cause is to warrant the notice of the Maiden of Battles. Successes beyond the difficulty may be added, as dice, to the dice pools of actions made with the spear that directly aid that specific cause, but the Exalt must commit one additional mote per die thus added.<br />
<br />
These bonus dice cannot exceed the wielder's Essence rating - Mars does not grant mighty gifts to the weak! The consecration ends at the beginning of Calibration, and the spear may not be consecrated again until the end of Calibration. These bonus dice are also lost if the cause is not kept alive, or if it turns away from its purpose as stated at the time of consecration!<br />
