=== Character Description ===

Ruby, a 23 year old Nexus-born woman, Exalted while walking the streets of her birthplace after two older
men attempted to mug and rape her. Once the daughter of a proud aristocrat, Ruby found herself fleeing for her life, a dawn caste mark burning bright on her forehead, her ears filled with the screams of "Anathema!" from those who saw her.

Dancing Ruby Wings has the built body of a female warrior, strong yet flexible, the perfect outlines of
definition along the skin of her body. She wears plated armor that lays tight against her skin. Although she used to wear bandanges around her face, mouth, and forehead in an attempt to hide her caste mark, she has discarded these while in the company of friends. She has bright blond hair that frames her tanned face in straight, yet spiky layers. Her bright red eyes stand out, their blood red color adding to her intimidation during battle. Her reaver daiklave, Answerer, is always by her side, either in hand or strapped to her back, its orichalcum blade glinting in the sunlight.

After her exaltation, Ruby wandered the land following traces of dreams that led her deep into the forests of the East. There, she met the figures from her dreams, several villagers whom had all exalted around the same time. Although she exalted earlier than these barbarians, she knew little of her powers, and set of on a journey of discovery with them. In time, they crossed back across the plains, had strange visions of their past lives together, fought strange foes, and met a First Age Lunar, named Alaethis, who knew about their shadowed past.

The group eventually made there way back to Nexus. In the process, Ruby had her first child, Everburning Ember. She found refuge in her old home, but her mother eventually turned on them, and the Wyld Hunt attacked, burning down the mansion and killing her father. It was also in Nexus when she and Endless Chase broke off their engagement, and Ruby realized her true feelings for Alaethis, the man that loved her in the First Age. She tracked her mother down in Lookshy, avenging her father's death, but getting herself and the group in trouble in the process.

After finally leaving Lookshy after some tense negotiations, the group headed to Rathess, Ruby's home in the First Age. She found out a lot about her past, including meeting the person who caused her demise, a Sidereal named Hayako, one of the Chosen of Endings.

Ruby has admitted her feelings to Alaethis, who has now taken her as his own. She is currently pregnant with their first child, a half caste who is sure to be quite the handful when it is born.
The party has succeeded in liberating Rathess from Han'Tha after convicing the Dawn Caste Filial Wisdom, one of the demon's followers, the truth of the Unconquered Sun.

Not long after the discovery that Zenleigha, one of her best friends, was pregnant with her mate's baby, Alaethis himself appeared out of nowhere. Not moments later, Pathien burst into the room to announce an attack by ghosts on the city of Lookshy. An assassin succeeded in murdering the Daimyo of Lookshy, but was quickly dispatched by Answerer. Alaethis has expressed his concern to Ruby that she has the tendency to enjoy bloodshed, and Ruby has promised to be more careful. She has also been informed by her First Age mate that her unborn baby is going to be a boy, news that they both are very happy about.

The battle at Thorns was moderately successful. Their attempted sneak attack was foiled as legions of undead were poured onto the decks of the airships. Ruby and her companions fough many Exalted Abyssals, and even dealt with a Third Circle demon and the Deathlord Mask of Winters before the battle was over. In the end, the battle at Thorns ended up a distraction as Mask's remianing deathknights attacked the city itself. Ruby and her companions managed to save the city, and Mask of Winters and Juggernaut have disappeared.

The group then went to the Calibration celebration in Yu-Shan, before Ruby headed back to Rathess. Alaethis returned home to attend to his people. Glory, an Abyssal serving Walker in Darkness, unleashed a Resonance-created Shadowland over most of Lookshy, and Endless Chase took Glory to the Labyrinth to try and retrieve her essence shard from Walker's mansion in Stygia. They were caught, and thrown into battle against the Walker. Ruby and her friends joined the battle as well, and eventually they were able to send The Walker in Darkness into the Void, at the cost of Endless Chase.

Ruby feels responsible for the death of her friend because she threw Endless Chase and The Walker into the Void together, while she was limiting breaking. Now, she and her friends must find a way to get Glory's Essence Shard out of Stygia. Thankfully, Alaethis is on his way to help...
