New page

The Wyld Hunt is a Dragonblooded game that I ran between December of 2006 and April of 2007. It was to serve as a "side story" to our then-current Abyssals campaign (which is, I fear, far too extensive to ever post in full). The PCs played various Dragonblooded scions sent to protect and manage a satrapy on the boundary of Thorns. Various intrigues resulted.

I learned a lot of things while playing the game. I gained a healty respect for the abilities and the limitations of 1e Dragonbloods, I learned that one Celestial level antagonist does not match up well against FIVE Terrestrials, that sometimes the best ideas come from random suggestions, and that Five Dragon Style actually does have some useful charms in it.

I imagine that the only people interested in reading these logs are the players. (If I'm wrong, feel free to comment and tell me what you think of the adventure) Since they've already played the game, I'm going to try to add a bit throughout for them by inserting various observations about what went wrong, what went right, and what just went weird.

It was to serve as a "side story" to our current Abyssals campaign (which is, I fear, far too extensive to ever post in full). The PCs played various Dragonblooded scions sent to protect and manage a satrapy on the boundary of Thorns. Various intrigues resulted.</ins>

I gained a healty respect for the abilities and the limitations of 1e Dragonbloods, I learned that one Celestial level antagonist does not match up well against FIVE Terrestrials, that sometimes the best ideas come from random suggestions</del>, <del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">and that Five Dragon Style actually does have some useful charms in </del>it<del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">.</del>

(If I'm wrong</del>, <del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">feel free to comment </del>and <del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">tell me what you think of the adventure) Since they've already played the game, I'm going to try </del>to <del class="diffchange diffchange-inline">add a bit throughout for them by inserting various observations about what went wrong, what went right, and what just went weird</del>.
