The heart of a Solar burns brighter than any engine. Channeling his Essence into the fires of a mechanical mount, the character causes it to shoot forward, multiplying its speed this action by (Essence). Streams of essence the hue of the Solar's anima trail after the machine, marking the Exalt's passage. If the mount needs time to warm up or calibrate before use, this overcomes that need.

No steed would let one of the Lawgivers fall to an ignominious death. Whenever the character is thrown from his steed, either by error on his part or malice of another's, he can reflexively spend a 3 motes to call his steed to catch him. When called by this charm, the steed will not fail to swoop under the Solar before he falls more than fifty feet or is otherwise endangered, regardless of how improbable or impossible this may seem.

When this charm is active, the Exalt's mount cannot be outpaced; it's Speed and Maneuverability all increase to that of the fastest flying mount the Solar is flying with or against. Significantly, the Solar can reflexively move up whenever someone attempts to fly higher than him; unless he chooses to allow himself to be overflown, he may rise as quickly as necessary to keep pace.

Sometimes Solars need to get places where normal ground mounts are incapable of going. Through this Charm the Solar takes unformed Essence and shapes it into that of a flying mount. This Charm creates a swift rider, windblade personal transport, warbird or other such single person flying vehicle. Use all normal rules for such artifact vehicles.

No one can truly force a Lawgiver into a situation that they do not have some control over. If the Exalt's mount is forced from the sky by sheer force of will the the can execute a gentle landing no matter how improbable.

Flying conveyances are great, however they are material and thus bound to physical principles such as aerodynamics. This Charm renders such limitations moot, increasing the maneuverability and dash speed of any personal flying conveyance by the user's Essence and reducing the DV-penalty of the Dash action to -1.

We may wish to avoid the conventional Ride tree, as it's almost entirely useless for anyone with an aerial mount. It actually makes a neat pinnacle to a tree with Burning Invigoration at the base...DeathBySurfeit

I always wanted to participate in one of these. The name needs work though... 
I think that the basic Ride tree sets a good foundation for these charms, and would consider making anything you "Ride" valid "targets" for it as well as these custom Charms (assuming that the use makes sense).
