The Odd Squad 4444st (Apparently it's a Chinese pun)

The Odd Squad 4444st reports to the League for their own reasons but their primary objective hasn't ever changed. They are a unit created as an active defense, unlike the reactive defense that the rest of the League provides, and as such they are incredibly dangerous and eccentric individuals.

Black Brier, Hound of the Ebony Hills, Leader of the Odd Squad 4444st
Race: Heroic Mortal
Description: A short man who seems to be fighting his way into his masculinity and losing. Effeminate is often a word thrown around and he is well known for dispensing 'Justice' when such words are bantered too openly around him. Black hair and soulful brown eyes make him as plain as white rice and were it not for his skill at Hand-to-Hand most would mistake Black Brier for a scholar or some other archivist of no note, but thankfully it is in his Martial Arts that the man of twenty-eight summers shows his true self.
A pitiless, pragmatic man Black Brier utilizes a combination of [[Sinanju]] and [[The Six King's Style]] to devastating results. His martial prowess earned him the nickname Hound of Ebony Hills when he patrolled said Shadowland for eight days, alone whilst waiting for reinforcements.
His preferred weapons are a set of thaumaturgicly prepared hand and leg wraps, which have been enhanced in such a way that he may strike his ghostly foes.

Scarlet Umbra, The Red Witch, Odd Squad 4444st Thaumaturgy Expert
Race: Godblooded (Unknown)
Description: A fine young woman who looks every bit like a Noble, though most believe she is just putting on airs. Her grace and skill in Thamaturgy grants her a bit of a leg up in the skill department and thanks to her iconic mortal-magic of the local Kingdom she has gained a sizable fan-base (Cult 1) as her name spread over the last few years and a few youths have even begun to simulate her signature ability.
An consummate expert in her field of mortal-magic Scarlet Umbra is often seen as a noble woman with impeccable manners.

Empty Moon, Odd Squad 4444st Front-Liner
Race: Dragon-Touched (Water)
Description: A small woman whose mercurial moods were as noticeable as her black-blue hair, though she’s long gotten used to the looks.
She carries with her a thin slashing sword with the same Thaumatugic enhancement that Bier has on his own wrappings. Her skill at he Even Blade style has carried her through many battles.

Mountain Wolf Volgun, Odd Squad 4444st Brute
Race: Dragon-Touched (Earth)
Description: A barrel-chested man with a strong chin and towering figure whose eyes glinted like little emeralds as he moved forward with a purposeful stride. He was born with hardened features that had been honed to a blunt but still viable edge.
He actually has enormous skill in the Jade Mountain Style and it is his armored flesh that the group often needs to weather the assaults laid upon them.

Sinning Feather, Odd Squad 4444st Archer
Race: Dragon-Touched (Wood)
Description: A petite girl of only fourteen. This sylphlike girl is a new recruit but her keen eye and skill at hiding have made her into an excellent Ambush Archer. Her skill with the bow is nothing to sneeze at either. Though young she is from the roughest portions of the Kingdom and boasts a skill in the infamous Orgiastic Fugitive Style from her earlier childhood.

Twisted Blossom, Odd Squad 4444st First Response Scout
Race: Dragon Touched (Air)
Description: You'll know her by the white hair marking her both as someone of Northern decent, and as a child heavily favored my the Dragon of Air. She is a skilled combatant but also a bit of a social butterfly. Her weapons of choice were the throwing needles that she kept in copious quantities about her person. She's actually an Ex-Smoke Knight on the run with secrets of the Nights Breeze and Ill-Lily styles hidden is scrolls she keeps learning from.

An odd bunch but they all have what it takes to do well, allegedly.

 Race: Heroic Mortal
 Description: A man of elderly years who spring has come to fall this bent Guardian is often the mouthpiece of the League to the Odd Squad. He is wiry and while the years have stolen his vitality he still can manage the odd bandit and weak spirit here and there. He usually dresses in blue accented with silver, though red and black are seen oft enough, and he has an eccentric love for the fashions of the West.
