New page

== Bubble Stone ==
These ensorcelled trinkets resemble nothing so much as a child's
glass marble. However, the sharp-eyed will note that these crystal
beads are actually hollow, and do not break no matter how hard one
tries. Their true worth, however, becomes apparent when one tries to
immerse them. No effort can force a bubble stone beneath the surface
of any liquid, for the bead actually encapsulates a little bit of
Elemental Air. In the West, they are often worn as good-luck charms
by sailors, which allows them to stay afloat. They are also popular
in the swampy regions of the Southwest and the East, where dangerous bogs and deadly quicksand is quite common. They are quite also very
common in the North, which is closer to the Elemental Pole of Air.
So long as one has a bubble stone in their possession, they will
always float to the surface of any liquid and cannot drown. However,
the stone does nothing to protect its keeper from said liquid, so
using one to go swimming in acid or magma is not recommended.
