<p>*</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>== Chapter Three ==<br /> As the heroes enjoyed their well deserved adulation ^_^, one of the demons arose and identified himself as U'awaa, and offered the hospitality of his Queen.<br /> <br /> Archer was clearly happy that he was receiving the correct level of admiration at last, and agreed heartily ... wherupon the heroes were led to Gateway, city of demons.<br /> <br /> Arriving at the city and passing through the streets, Archer was again pleased to see that the demons they passed bowed to the earth as they passed by. He even graced them with his &quot;pose&quot; (think Zoolander here).<br /> <br /> At the Queen's tent, U'awaa passed the guards and introduced the heroes to the slug-like Queen, U'daal, who silently regarded them from her massive bone and orichalcum throne. They then enjoyed a tasty repast of demon meat, and after a bit of information from U'awaa on the Invisible Fortress retired to bed.<br /> <br /> In the morning, U'awaa led the heroes to the Fortress itself. The journey was fairly uneventful, with the demons leaving when the characters entered.<br /> <br /> In the fortress itself, the heroes investigated the ground level first. They found the empty case where the Manse's hearthstone should have been, and then the chapel (they recognised the heresy of there being no windows) and were caught and nearly killed by the trap beneath it. They found and talked to the master of music, and later in the dining room met the Guardian.<br /> <br /> After resting, the companions carried one of the large mirrors down to the lower level (so that the Guardian could get a look at one of the tombs below), lighting all the rooms and opening all the locks with his marvelous essense as they passed, they began to hear sounds of booming from the front door ...<br /> <br /> 6 XP each<br /> <br /> ----<br /> *Back to BrokenShade/InvisibleFortress<br /> *On to BrokenShade/ChapterFour</div>
