== Thousand Feather Boots ==

Long ago, during the hight of the First Age, it was common for the powerful beings that ruled the land to create minor wonders for their subordinates, to increase their meager powers, and for themselves, so they would not be required to expend their concentration on minor magics. One of these minor items became known as the Thousand Feather Boots, for they were created using the magical essence of thousands of feathers, to enhance the wearers movement and stability.

The Thousand Feather Boots resemble normal boots in the same way that hawks resemble chickens. They are found in several colors, the most common being white, black, and sky blue. However, they all have their very streamlined shape, soles of blue jade, and an arcane symbol that brings to mind images of bird wings in common. When five motes is spent to attune to the boots the following powers become active. They stablise the wearer, allowing them to perform amazing feats of balance even in places that wouldn't normally hold them, like thin tree branches. The boots lighten the steps of the wearer, allowing them to travel twice as fast and jump twice as high as normal. They have no hearthstone settings.
