<i>Long ago, during the first age, there was a powerful twilight. He was a master at building and using swords, although he always remained humble (for a solar) and compassionate (again, for a solar). Because he was compassionate, none of the swords he made or used ever had a killing edge. One day he succeeded at building his greatest sword. He named it Kachikyumonji (Nine Paths to Victory) and inscribed upon it the three superior paths of victory which are known by those who fight the enemies of the gods. However, he did not use this sword, for he was both humble (for a solar) and pious (for a solar). Instead, he donated it to a temple to Sol Invictus. He then built a lesser version of his best sword to carry on his journies to protect the people. This lesser version, he named Kachirokumonji (Six Paths to Victory) and inscribed upon it the three major paths of victory which are known to those who venerate the sun, moon, and stars. However, he still concidered this sword to be too perfect to be used by his imperfect self, so he placed it in his personal shrine to Sol Invictus, and constructed a third sword to use as his personal weapon. This final sword he named Kachisanmonji (Three Paths to Victory) and he inscibed upon it the three minor paths of victory known to those who fight. This was the sword he kept and used throught his life untill his death at the hands of his assistant. </i>
