== House Of Adamant Ice ==

The House of Adamant Ice is a Shogunate-era Water Aspected Manse of Rank Four capability. It is known to have a Password-Activated Control Room, walls Armored and reinforced with adamant, and several Magical Conveniences (the manse has excellent plumbing, essence based lighting, automatic training rooms, and password activated locks). It Vents Essence through the adamant shell, which lowers the surrounding temperature by 10 degrees. Touching it is unwise.

From the exterior, the manse looks like a hemispherical soap bubble with a tower jutting from it at each of the cardinal points. The southern tower, which faces the village, serves as the entrance as well as the main bureaucratic headquarters of the Satrapy. The eastern and western towers serve as the military barracks, arms storage, mess, and other necessary features of military life.

The main area under the dome contains a large fountain at it's center, with four steams of water flowing out in a spiral pattern through a rock garden of tumbled river stones. The upper levels of the dome contain the Control Room, Satrap's Suite, and, at the apex of the dome, the Hearthroom (which produces an Ice Gem). There are stairs in each of the towers that lead to these upper levels.

The northern tower serves as the main vault. Most of the tower is a large storeroom where the pearl harvest is packed and stored until it can be shipped out. However, there is an upper floor that the Satrap uses for research (and possibly the occasional dalliance). The doors to the north tower, Central Control, and the Hearthroom are locked with passwords only the Satrap, Scale leader of the Garrison, and Senior Administrator know. The doors to the Satrap's Lab and Satrap's Suite are further locked with artifacts that open only at his touch.
