The Mask of Winters has a Ghost-Blooded son who he uses as a Body double, allowing him to appear in creation. He allows this son to be killed, faking his own death in order to see the true loyalties of his Deathknights and start a war between the other Deathlords. Nothing puts the fear of Death-Beyond-Death like watching your deathlord die, then reappear months later and telling you that he's so powerful as to have Thwarted Oblivion Itself =)
