Some few exotic weapons used by mortals required truely prodigious strength to wield but could not easily be stopped at all by blade or steel armor. Beyond them were the weapons of the Exalted which mortals could not use at all. Made of such heavy metals even they would use enchantments and essence to make them light and swift as a feather. Still there were those Exalted, primarily amongst the Lunar Exalted, who had both the strength and the speed to take things up another level and for these and those others who use charms to enhance their strength the Thousand Pound Blades were designed.

These weapons were allways rare in the First Age. First of all it took a great deal extra of the Magical Materials to forge such a blade and then those that could use it were so few in the first place. Those few that were used always required a change of tactics when facing against them as they were almost impossible to block against.

Below are some basic example Thousand Pound Blades. Some received additional enchantments. These weapons do overall weigh about 1000 lbs. A thousand pound blade is almost impossible to block. After charm use and such half a characters PDV against attacks from this weapon. This is a tag effect denoted by the * now.
