It has been called Hest, the Legion's Edge, Legion's Edge Hest, Claw of the Dragon's Legion, and a dozen other names in its time. Ask the craftsmen of Lookshy or the Realm and they will recount to you the 6 Swords of Aken Tsuro, one of the most famed weaponsmiths of the Shogunate who churned uot 6 great daiklaives before his untimely assassination.

Hest was the fourth sword he made and the second most famed. Rather than being known for its power or beauty it is instead known for the many deeds that have been done with it. Those who carried the weapon were agressive warriors. They would lead charges to break lines or start fights. At the battle of the Opal Plain Bridge it lead the charge that resulted in the eventual destruction of that connection over the Yanaze. It was used in the failed counterattack of the rebel Forsaken Dragon upon the capitol of the Shogun. The commander of the 2nd Legion, who pacified a third of the south carried it and lead his army from the front lines.

Hest's design bears grooves that visually seem like vines that work all along the green jade blade. These grooves serve a purpose far greater than mere aethetics. When swung with violent intent at ones enemies they serve as natural channels for the essence in the area around the weapon. The gathered Essence serves as a small Overdrive pool that its wielder can use. The pool is small, only 5m but it grows with every attack at a foe.

Aside from this Overdrive pool the weapon has a rate of 3 instead of 2 but otherwise has stats identitcal to a regular Jade Reaver Daiklaive.
