		+	I am Cathak Delvanar and standing at the rail of this ship I watch as the Imperial Isle fades from my view. I cannot help but wonder if I will ever set foot upon the Isle again, or if I will see that which I called home again. Perhaps it is for the best, that life as I knew it is gone and I now head to Nexus. To start over? Perhaps, but only time will tell.

		+	As to why I am leaving, that is a story in its own.

		+	I was born into House Cathak in a line that ran strong with the favor of the Dragons. My identical twin Elophesis followed my by mere minutes. Twins, a blessing upon the house and a good omen, at least that is what they thought at the time.

		+	From the start, my brother and I were given the finest education and were immersed in the teachings of the Immaculate Order. When we were strong enough to lift a sword and to pull a bow we were taught in their use. I showed a natural affinity for the bow from an early age, my brother the sword.

		+	It seemed a pretty normal upbringing, at least until it was time to go to primary school. When it would have been time to go my brother and I were kept at home and schooled by a tutor and a new Weapons Master. Our tutor was nothing special, but our Weapons Master was an amazing martial artist and was equally good with weapons of all sorts. He taught us the basics of Martial Arts and began preparing us for hte academies and potential inclusion in the Immaculate Order. My brother and I worked hard and competed fiercely with each other. We were pushed equally by our father and out Weapons Master.

		+	When my brother was 12, almost 13 he exalted. A true Fire of the Dragon. I did not. My father's attention and favor focused upon my brother, but my Weapons Master still treated us equally. As time passed I fell deeper and deeper into my brother's shadow in the eyes of my father and family. When he was 14 he was accepted into the Cloister of Wisdom, I was not.

		+	Some time passed and I continued my studies, but formal and informal at the hands of my Weapons Master.

		+	In my 16th year, my Brother returned for a period from the Cloister of Wisdom. At that time he would train with me and other members of our household. During one such session I was sparing with my brother one on one. He was relentless, and I could feel the scorn and dislike he had for me as a mortal. He beat me handily and I accepted defeat. However, this time he did not let up, he continued to press his attacks and pushed harder and harder. Finally as I lay beaten and bloodied he relented. As I lay there I felt a terrible anger, and a terrible power well up inside. As I learned later, it was at that moment that the hand of the Golden Sun touched me and I exalted. Filled with this new and inexplicable power I rose up against my Brother and brought the fight back to him. I think I caught him unexpectedly, for I returned upon him the punishment he first gave me.

		+	It wasn't until I was standing over him glowing in the power that I now held that I realized what had become of me.
