<i>Stealthily, the ninja crept to the wall, his superhuman senses finding the unobtrusive door in the wall.  He checked the door out of throughness and, predicably found it locked.  "No matter," he thought, "that is what this is for."  He pulled out the sheathed sword hung across his back.  It was a rather simple looking straight sword, with a cylindrical, open-ended, lacquered sheath and thin handle.  The ninja removed the sword from it's sheath, the dull golden blade refusing to gleam in the faint light of the stars.  Holding the blade with the proper swordsman's stance the ninja touched the tip lightly to the door and stepped forward, appearing suddenly on the other side.  Rasing the sheath to his eye, he saw that none of the guards were nearby, just as his research had indicated.  Quickly putting the sheath to his lips and channeling a small amount of essence, he fired blowgun darts from it at each of the visible guards, the poison instantly knocking them out.  Sneaking silently to the wall of the inner keep he reversed the sword and placed it's handle inside the sheath.  Aming the blade at the top of the wall, he willed it to activate, shooting the sword (now trailing a thin chain) to the top of the wall.  After climbing quickly up the chain, he faced the window that he wished to enter.  Stepping onto the windowsill and willing the chain to retract, the ninja removed the sword and used it's door evasion powers to step through the window.  A few doors later, he found the room that he had been searching for.  Unfortunately, so did two of the guards.</i>

<b>Powers</b>

Space-Cutting Blade: (5m) This power allows the user to walk through one closed portal (i.e. a door, window, etc.) without desturbing it in anyway.  (will not affect warded portals)

Wall-Climbing Chain: (1m) By inserting the hilt of the sword into the sheath, the blade can be fired on a chain.  The chain can support up to 500 lbs and the chain retraction function can support up to 250 lbs.

Dart Creating Sheath: (1m) By putting your lips to the sheath and activating this power, the sheath creates a poisoned blowgun dart for immidiate use (darts vanish after one round).  The darts can be either deadly or paralytic.  

+

Length Changing Sheath: an attuned user can cause the sheath to change from it's normal size up to 10 yards long.  At a size of 2 to 3 yards it can be used as a staff.  The sword hilt can be inserted to cause the weapon to take the form of a Naganita.

Night-Vison Sight: (2m) By looking through the Sheath and activaing this power, the user suffers no darkness penalties for sight.

Gem Hiding Pocket: (1m) By sliding a small object down the sheath and activating this power, the object is hidden elsewhere untill brought back with another application of this power.  The sheath can hold one object at a time.
