== Brilliant Raven in Amaranth Robes ==

Our regular Solar game was on hold for a few weeks due to Christmas break for one of our players, and our GM asked if we wanted to do a one-or-two-shot for the few weeks that we had free. Naturally, we all said "of COURSE!" and the debate was started. "Dragonbloods or Sidereals?" we asked. After much thought, our GM said, "Sidereals." And so it began.

We gathered at her apartment to make characters, and started forming concepts. My first thought was a Chosen of Secrets spymaster (based on my original Dragonblood character concept for the game, [[/RagaraSundara | Ragara Sundara]]), but I dropped that in favor of a Chosen of Battles that had been bouncing around in my head ever since watching Karas: The Prophecy-slash-The Revelation.

I settled on a martial artist (naturally) with Ebon Shadow Style, working toward a Sidereal Martial Art. She had lots of Dexterity and Strength, a decent amount of Stealth and Athletics, and even some minor social skills. I was all set, until our GM said, "Oh, right, and since you're experienced characters, take... 800 experience."

The entire room went silent, and we all just looked at each other. Then everyone grabbed for the Sidereals book and Scroll of the Monk and started writing down Charms as fast as they could. Essence 6? SURE. Dexterity, Strength, and Wits 6? WHY NOT? The possibilities are ENDLESS. And I can't wait to play :)

Brilliant Raven is a young-looking woman with a cheerful smile and a heritage that lies somewhere in the Realm or its tributaries; she's got the dark hair and pale skin of a Dynastic scion, though her eyes are deep crimson with scarlet pinpricks in the pupils.  Dematerialize and teleport behind the target, attacking thrice (with +6 dice to each attack, and the additional caveat that the target cannot defend unless he uses charms that work specifically against surprise attacks) and binding the fate of his allies, friends, and subordinates within a 30 mile radius to the target. The target, and thus anyone whose fate is tied to his, is paralyzed in three limbs (usually the sword arm and both legs). Any further attacks that affect the target also affect anyone who is tied to his fate.
