The Abyssal Exalted can hide their true nature and goals scrutiny, even the powerful magic of their masters cannot pierce the murky darkness of their hearts. 
When purchasing this charm the player defines a long term goal that must be supported by the character’s intimacies or motivation. This charm perfectly defends against any attempts to learn this goal (or the motivation and intimacies associated with it) through investigation social attacks, charms and sorcery. 
It does not however negate the effects of charms such as Sagacious Reading of Intent or Judge's Ear Technique which can still recognise fundamental hostility in a social attack without knowing the reason, or if a statement is a lie without knowing what the truth is. 
Achieving the hidden goal allows the Abyssal to select a new one from the same criteria as the original. Should the Abyssal abandon her goal, or it becomes obsolete due to the actions of others, the charm becomes inactive until the Abyssal spends 1 experience point to determine a new hidden goal. 

Lawgivers have an identical charm called Master Planner’s Discretion that saw extensive use in the preparation stages of the Primordial War when brave Quicksilver Falcons sought out potential allies among the Primordial created behemoths and races- exposure of their true intentions could have sparked the war before the exalted host was ready.
