An abyssal who's anima goes iconic causes extras to automatically botch their Valor rolls. Heroic mortals must spend a Willpower point to resist this unnatural terror or they will do the same. Mortals who die after seeing this sight rarely become ghosts. They go to Lethe to escape the horror of what they have seen or are driven mad by it and soon become spectres. This effect always triggers when an Abyssal's anima goes iconic and they can not spare anyone from its effects even if they wished to.
