Malleable Shape of the Lucid Dead

Abyssal Exalted are wellsprings of the ways of menacing death Essence in a way few other creatures are. It is a simple task for the insightful Abyssal to harness this Essence talent and don it in a surge of sickly light. An Exalt using this Charm has temporarily converted his Essence into a merciless tool of artifice, specifically regarding the dead. On top of many other dreadful elements, soulfire wielded by the Exalt flares white-hot, balefully scorching a ghost into molten corpus in moments. This Charm reduces the time required to manipulate corpus, for any endeavor utilizing the corpus, by an enormous scale. For the next day, soul artifice times are reduced from a factor of days to hours, so that an effort that would normally take two weeks, instead takes fourteen hours. Unfortunately, the corpus can withstand only so much of this overwhelming decay-inflicting Charm, and the difficulty for the Crafts roll involved in molding this soul is increased by one permanently each time this Charm is used on it.

Malleable Shape of the Lucid Dead is pretty nice. I'm not sure the penalty is even necessary, and the permanent penalty is especially nasty; you can cripple a master of the Shifting Ghost-Clay Path by slapping him around with this Charm a few times, forever increasing the difficulty of her attempts to mold her own Corpus with Arcanoi. - [[Quendalon]]
