==First Age==

In the High First Age an unnamed Solar shaped part of the north by spreading apart the great ice sheets to expose the fertile soil beneath. Using potent sorcery and geomancy the Solar drew the dragon-lines together to form a demense of the wood aspect but it was not their intent to build a manse on that location instead the demense was used to grow unique plants that the Solar intended to use to augment humanity. Not wanting to have to spend to much time around the demense the Solar brought in the line of humanity they where experimenting with and they where serve as it care takers and guardians.

They where tall with the average man standing 7'5" and the average woman only a mere 6'1" with a slender athletic build. Being a hardy people they had little contact with the wider Creation and lead simple and hard lives in the jungles and forests that the demense nourished after the Solar planted what they had wanted. Over time the humans there had forgotten most of the wider Creation and rode out onto the ice sheets beyond the their warm forested home on the backs of great polar bears that where domesticated by the Solar and given to the Guardians.

For over 1,500 years the Guardians rode out into the North of Creation in raids and small wars to the Solar and others they considered it a test of Humanity so they could never become complacent with life. The greatest of the Warlords survived for centuries thanks to their home and to Solar Medicine that extended the lives of the warriors. As time went by the forest and jungle grew rapidly changing constantly and the humans so bound to it growing stronger and tougher as a result.

Shortly before the Usurpation the founding Solar urged the Guardians to mass and attack larger northern cities to test the reactions of the cities Dragon-Blooded and mortal troops. Empowering the greatest of the Warlords had gathered a large horde for by that time the Guardians had reached in the tens of thousands and they rode out to pillage and burn their bodies covered only in body paints, loin clothes, swords and shields. They cut a bloody swath through the northern territories over running human legions and taking magitech weapons and armor. Only being stopped when a Dragon-Blooded officer rallied the last 2,000 troops in her command and in one of the greatest battles of the First Age engaged the Guardians in open battlefield conditions.

To the Solars this was incredibly entertaining and they watched from hidden sky ships with many of the Solars placing bets with each other. To many of the Realms generals this was a wake up that if such a horde with barely awakened essence could cause so much damage it is no wonder that the Solars defend Creation. And to many they saw how important the Dragon-Blooded were to maintaining the defense of Creation as well. Though training after the Guardians where beaten back to their hidden homeland was harsh as the armies of the Realm where drilled and trained to new standards.

==The Usurpation==

When the Usurpation came the Guardians and their forest where absent of the fighting for the opening battles. Only when fighting had spread out and the purges began did they ride out of their hidden homeland to torch towns and cities. In their wake they killed over a million people through out the north and three cities burned to the ground before the Dragon-Blooded could react to their rampage across the north they had faded back into the blizzards to their hidden home. No matter how hard they tried they could not find it.

Through out the Shogunate the Guardians rode out and rampaged across the North. The Shogunate attempted at first to build fortresses through out the North to spot the Horde before they could reach the cities and bring ruin. When the Horde moved great storms came down from the North and covered their approach. The storms would wash over one of the fortresses and none would be left alive. The Horde would slip through the gap in detection steadily advancing towards the cities striking and taking what they desired before retaliation could follow. Dragging away equipment, food and woman.

Eventually the Shogunate closed the fortresses and moved the cities and people further south leaving abandoned structures for the Hordes. With decreased observation the Guardians spread out from their homeland and their tent cities spread out across the North and the migration routes set up in the abandoned cities.

==The Contagion==

The Guardians where just as unaware of what was to happen as the rest of Creation when it hit. Those outside of their homeland for to long losing the protection of the wood demense died just like the others. Those within the forests and jungles soon learned of what was happening. Calling upon their shamans great blocks of ice were raised in front of the entrances to the forests. So long as they were within the borders of the great demense the Contagion could not reach them and they remained strong while the rest of Creation died.

==The Fae Invasion==

When the invasion of the Fair Folk struck the Guardians where prepared as they could be. From thousands of years of their existence they have stolen and maintained weapons of the First and later Ages. As the hordes descended into the forest of the demense they faced a well prepared and healthy army backed by the weapons of the First Age and the thousands of warriors. Their warlords pushed the fae out of the forest and the invasion encircled the forests so that they could not get out. Though by this time the Guardians had no desire to.

There are many kinds of these tattoos some of them are temporary were others are permanent. In order to give them protection the tattoos must be exposed and cover at least a third of the body. These tattoos do not protect against the cold, heat or other environmental effect. Below are a few samples the inks that are produced. A Guardian can have no more than 3 tattoo's active whether they be temporary or permanent. When the temporary tattoos come to an end they dissolve into green essence ending their effects immediately. == Session 1 ==

The Infernal Coven has set sail from BlueHaven towards the area of the sea floor that broke open by one of the ancient beasts that Kimbery still had some control over to get to the ruins of the Old Empire so that they may be able to find a way to cure Ng Oroo. Before they arrive at the area they come across three ships devoid of any crew. Two of those ships were triremes of the Realms Water Fleet, the third ship was made of black wood and soulsteel but no trace of who it belonged to. Examining the black ship the Coven discovered Daestra and after being examined by the Defiler committed essence to it and then creation spoke of events the others did not witness. Exploring the other two ships one of the Scourges was able to find code books, signal flares, flags and maps of some of the Realms naval holdings. Further investigation they learned the crews were devoured by strange beasts that once served the Old Empire but no longer under Lintha control and that they were freed when the sea floor was burst open.

When they arrive at the area Kimbery had the beast open they dove down and discovered that it opened up into the area where Lintha Ng Tharini had come to rest after being broken off of Ng Oroo at wars end. Exploration of the city-behemoth took them down the Cave-Wombs of Ng Tharini and into the central spawning pools. There they discovered the schools of these creatures and their ability to sing that would shape living coral to their urges. Whether these creatures are fully intelligent, no more than mere beasts, or somewhere in between as yet to be fully discovered. Though the way to save Ng Oroo is potentially in the ruins on the City-Plain beyond the Spawning Pools and Cave-Wombs.

== Session 2 ==

The Coven continued to work with the Singers at the lake. Those creatures began to sing and from the sea floor columns of coral rose out of the water and ramps grew to connect them to the upper exit to reach the City-Plain. Ng Tharini created a bubble of air around the city so that the Lintha could act easier. Looking for information on how they could on how to save Ng Oroo. In the search of the city they found 3 libraries. One of the libraries contained information on geomancy and manse construction. The second library was for naval warfare, ship construction and weapons. The third library was on soul shaping, soul structures and hierarchies. As they utilized the systems in the library it continued to drain the essence of Ng Tharini and the air bubble collapsed further until only they where surrounded by the air bubble.

They ran to the center building as more of Ng Tharini's children came to investigate and defend the Behemoth. Inside the main chamber of the city and the Behemoth they discovered a central pool with the primary interface that the Old Empire spoke to the Behemoth too. The bottom of the pool contained thick material that clung to the bottom of the pool. Using magic and help of the Singer they cleaned out the pool but the Behemoth was still infected. They had discovered that if they can use a Hearthstone or place the Behemoth near a demense she will be able to consume the essence to heal herself enough to move towards Ng Oroo. Neither Behemoth will truly be whole again unless they become bonded.

This has left the Coven torn on what direction to take now.

== The Island ==

Due to the resources being poor in Bluehaven in terms of food production the Covenant of the Mother left port without much in the way of supplies. It was to be up to the crew to stock it on their own. A few days into the journey ''Blood Dimmed Tides'' pulled the Covenant into the shallow bay of a small unnamed island. On this island they found 20 large flightless bird that were aquatic predators and used the island for nesting and bringing captured prey. They are incredibly large and powerful animals that feasted on anything they could catch including sharks. They also proved to be intelligent in setting up ambushes while the others feed. Aratol and J'rdoa had a contest on who could take the most of them. J'rdoa won the contest by knocking out 12 of the birds while Aratol only killed 8 of them.

Also on the island was a slumbering earth elemental, apparently the island was its prison. So far out to sea that even if it was found no one should have known that the rocks where actually the slumbering elemental. But the combat and violence the Infernals brought to the island woke it up. They learned that is was sent to the island because its passage had destroyed an important village and the gods in the celestial city banished it there because of its growing power. Ethnae convinced the Elemental to leave the island and potentially raise the sea floor beneath Ng Oroo to buy them more time so she could not sink deeper.

With the departure of the elemental the island broke apart and sunk to the sea floor once again. Gathering the birds and taking them back to the ship they would not have to worry about food for a long time to come.

The Song Lines of the past where sung by the Lunars in the High First Age to aide their Solar Mates, but only if the bond was strong enough and it was one of mutual respect and love. But the Song Lines where not originally the domain of the Lunar Exalted but of another group whose Maiden was lost. She was the Maiden of the Song and it was duty to bring the Hymn of Creation to all those would could hear it. And during the War the Primordials struck at the most lovely of the Maidens and wounded her greatly. Creation shuddered as the Hymn of Creation was lessened and the Cathedral of the Hymn shook to its very core. Her chosen fell not from any enemy they simply came undone as the Song left them.

Thankfully the Hymn of Creation was not lost as Luna was close to her wounded sister. It was because of Luna’s mercurial nature that she was able to absorb the Hymn of Creation into herself before it and her sister faded away. The Maiden of the Hymn was not utterly destroyed as she remains in the Silver Chair unable to heal completely and take the mantle of the song back from Luna. Though she can still bestow the power of the Song Lines to the Lunars who prove themselves worthy.

== Chorus (3xp per song) ==
These are the most basic of the Song Lines and the Lunar is able to travel incredible distances in a very short time. Each Song Line connects to a specific area and no matter where they are at in Creation using the Song Line to travel has the journey take no more than a week with a successful Charisma + Performance roll. Failure brings them up no more than 100 miles off course. A botch will take them dramatically off course and potentially in another area of Creation entirely or some where inhospitable. Activating the travel songs costs 10 motes that must be paid each day for the journey or the song line dissolves and they are once again forced to travel normally. Due to the nature of such magic such an effect and be activated no more than one per day.

Traveling is not the only power of the Chorus Song Lines they can be used to help with the interactions of the Fair Folk, Spirits and Gods. On a Charisma + Performance roll the number of successes adds a number of dice to the next roll to interact with that entity. It costs 5 motes to activate the song which cannot be enhanced with other charms. And it must be purchased for each group type to be affected.

== Hymn (5xp per song) ==
The Hymn Song Lines are as far as most Lunars ever get to hear from the Lost Maiden and even these songs represent talents that few others can do without the help of sorcery or charms. These Song Lines tap into the Hymn of Creation and can shape both the Wyld and Creation to suit there needs, but with this music they can only bring about geological changes to their immediate surroundings. After spending 3 motes they make a Charisma + Craft roll and any successes brings about the localized desired result.

The simple shaping of the environment is not the only effects the hymns can generate. By calling upon the Hymn of Creation the Lunar is able to bring out more effects in Creation but can doing so can upset the local divinities since the song brings out such a profound sense of loss that resonates deeply within them from the loss of the Maiden of the Song. After a successful activation of a Hymn the Lunar must roll Charisma + Performance with a difficulty against the number of successes he rolled on the activation roll to keep the spirits content and not to seek him out. With such magics the Lunar cannot effect the duration of these effects and all of them will last a scene unless otherwise stated.

Hymn of the Storm: 5 motes - The Lunar calls upon the Tears of the Lost Maiden her sadness and loss tears into Creation and a powerful storm is called. Such is the potency of her sadness that afterwards it will not rain normally for a week as all emotion is used up in the area. With a successful Charisma + Performance roll a storm will form with an area of effect in miles equal to the number of successes determined. This storm is fierce and to many would seem unnatural in regions that rarely such things.

Hymn of the Rolling Earth: 10 motes - The Lunar’s hymn is soft and soothing building in intensity and power and the very ground beneath her feet begins to shift and shake. As the song builds in intensity and the earth begins to shake violently in all directions for a number of miles equal to the successes rolled on a Intelligence + Crafting (Earth) roll. The shaking is indiscriminate as its spreads out from the location of the Lunar. Any action taken in this area of effect have a penalty equal to the successes rolled by the Lunars activation roll.

Hymn of the Healing Earth: 15 motes - The earth is capable of sustaining life no matter how injured it may be. This beautiful song calls the healing of the earth and the soil becomes dark and rich. The bed of soil is capable of healing a number of people equal to the successes on an Intelligence + Medicine roll. They must be totally covered though while in the ground it nurtures them and they need not breath, eat or drink and they must stay in the ground for a full day in that time they can take no actions.

== Ephemeral (10 xp per song) ==
These Songs are the lost charms of the Maidens chosen and incredibly potent but the cost to activate them is high since they are filled with such sorrow and loss that to sing them to often often is a prelude to disaster. It is whispered the Hymn of Finality shall be sung at the end of Creation and its rebirth shall be in the songs. Touching this power is fraught with danger and the Maiden rarely teaches a song of this potency in the Second Age.

The vehicle is controlled by an Infernal Exalted known to many as ‘Shadow of Ruin’. The vehicle is a traveling carnival that caters to the most decadent and extremes of humanity in Creation. The vehicle is nearly 500 yards long and laced with the magical metals and the ores found only within Malfeas. It sits on 6 massive wheels made of black basalt forged with a core of tainted orichalcum within the center of each wheel. The axles of the vehicle are also just as rugged and able to with stand a great deal amount of damage. It is pulled by a thousand slaves though thanks to its power source they are able to do so with relative ease. At different levels of the vehicle are cranes and cages to lift and lower slaves into the vehicle. When Carnivora stops it is always in motion in moving goods.

The outer walls of the Vehicle are nearly 5 yards thick. Made of stone quarried from Malfeas and drilled in with the other magical metals. The interior walls are covered with prayers to the Exiles and the inauspicious geomancy involved in the construct further perverts the laws of Creation. Focusing prayers to the Mother of All and to Kimbery to create a unique environment that allows generally incompatible species to be able to breed with each other. If enough are produced they become self-sufficient and wholly real.

The interior is divided into five levels. The lowest level is able to support different climates and conditions inside each of the cages allowing the creatures to survive within them. It has limits though that it cannot duplicate anything deeper than the Bordermarches or the Shadowland so it is not able to keep truly dead things or those touched too deeply by the Wyld. It is also the place where the energies most used to create new species are birthed and then spread out as Carnivora moves around.

The second level is were the mundane beasts of Creation are kept along with the more dangerous humans and beastmen are kept. The third level is were the bulk of the human slaves are kept and sorted along gender, origin and skills. The fourth level is were the crew, goods and the other narcotics are kept to be distributed to guests and sold in bulk through out its traveling route. The fifth layer is the arena and what draws in such large crowds of people were ever it stops.

The area is a techno-magical wonder that would have fit into any First Age city. It is capable of changing its internal temperature and simulate any number of environments both natural and those found in Malfeas. Lifts connect it to the other levels to bring in animals, demons or humans to fight in the arena. To protect the guests from harm a magical net is raised in a dome over the arena so that no essence can escape and harm the spectators and during the games the entry ways are sealed with doors forged of orichalcum and red jade to prevent the combatants from trying to escape.
Scrying devices are spread through out the vehicle and they are able to project scenes happening through out the vehicle onto essence screens around the arena and a across the exterior of the vehicle. When it is idle those essence screens offering whatever it is someone needs.

On the top most deck is the Demon Aerie and the command Pavilion. The Demon Aerie is home to Agata that Shadow of Ruin is so fond of. The lowest level is the barrack of the Blood Apes. It is visible from the ground as a black tower on the top of the vehicle. The height of the vehicle is nearly 200 yards.

The last structure on the deck of the vehicle is the command Pavilion which are the private quarters of Shadow of Ruin. Here is the control panels that ultimately decide the fate of those in and around the vehicle. They also serve to regulate the breeding energies the vehicle produces. Hidden in this chamber is the shaft that leads down to the power source in which generates all the essence the vehicle needs. It is bound by powerful sorcery and concepts that the savants of the First Age would have had trouble understanding. It was forged by order of the Yozi and constructed in co-operation by many Third Circle Souls of the different Yozi.

Carnivora will serve a vital function in the upcoming Reclamation of Creation.

'''Endurance''': Due to the unique nature of the vehicles core it does not require a Hearthstone to power it. Instead it drains essence from the surrounding environment that it is pulled through. The engine always twists fate and hides it from the eyes of Heaven. But if the vehicle remains in one place for more than 4 days Heaven will notice the distortion as a Blasphemous effect of a being of more than Essence 5 and will respond with a full strike force of the Aerial Legion.

The vehicle is very easy to maintain and with the living demonic metal and stone it does not require maintenance as often a vehicle of its size would indicate. During Calibration it must stop for the full five days and under go full maintenance. The bindings that hold the living metals and stone together onto the structure of the vehicle need to be checked so in addition to the normal repair rolls Int+Occult roll needs to be made over the course of the week 100 successes needs to be achieved with each roll representing about an hour of time. If the occultist is unable to complete the bindings the Loom detects its blasphemous presence as Calibration ends and a strike force of the Aerial Legion made to deal with incursions by Third Circle Demons is sent to deal with the threat.

- The living materials of the vehicle heal the vehicle at the rate of level per hour of complete rest when the vehicle is not moving. 
- The Spawning Pools are located on the fifth level of Carnivora were the energies gathered from the power of Cytherea and Kimbery is harnessed that allows the breeding of such terrible creatures to be possible. The prayer murals and dedications preformed during construction focus that creative and motherly urge. It allows normally incompatible species to breed to create all manner of monsters. Gestation is very short at just a month long during which time the mother must be kept on that level. Child birth is not always fatal for the mother allowing them to be able to produce multiple monsters. 
- The Core of Carnivora is a powerful demon of the Third Circle Demon that was forged into the core of the vehicle to act as its power source and companion to Shadow of Ruin. When she away from the vehicle the Core acts as her second in command. Unknown to all but Shadow of Ruin and the smiths that forged Carnivora is that the Core is a Hellstrider that is currently dormant. It can activate but such a process destroys the vehicle as it is and sends shockwaves through out Heaven and respond with a force that would bring down some of the greatest Third Circle Demons.

The origins of the Elua tribe date back to the High First Age and a now forgotten Solar Queen. In the far northeast away from the Forest People project of the rest of the Solar Deliberative did she begin her project. Enjoying bio-genesis to the exclusion of all other crafting arts she wanted to create an offshoot of humanity as other Solars but maintain a very pleasing ascetic while attaining the desired result. Part of her project included trees that would be able to store memories as fruit and to regulate entire ecosystems and when linked together it formed a complex pattern that was nearly sentient.

The Elua tribe remembers this time by a diminished version of the Solars complete title as she was known to them back in the First Age, Jalha the Mother Tree. When they where guided by a powerful force that protected them and the forest. Due to the Solars secretive nature they where spared much of the Usurpation and the wars that followed. Thankfully Jalha gifted them with a remarkable healing ability and when the Contagion hit they again were spared the worst of its effects all the while remaining within their hanging city from the branches of those family trees they had developed such a deep bond with.

The Fae invasion that followed was less than ideal. As the wyld washed over the borders of Creation the Elua where changed. Their Solar inspired forms where twisted and changed. The blue-green skin tone and markings remained as did their bright intelligent eyes. But their arms spilt into two below the elbow. Long cat-like tails at the base of their spine. In the males a hunger for flesh and deeper connection to their essence. The female members of the tribe became linked together. Part of those trees resides in each of them at conception. It’s what allows the males such use of their essence.

But they saw themselves as corrupted and tarnished no longer how the Solar set them out to be. Consumed by grief they turned on each other in now known as the “Time of Tears”. The tribes population plummeted and they would have vanished if it where not for the first chieftain of the Elua’a, the New Elua known to the tribe as Jalha’ni (the Daughter of Jalha). She brought them back together and told them it was time to find their own path in the world. That the Tree Mother was probably not returning.

The new shamans she brought forth revered the Wyld and the changes it could bring. They gave a power to the raiding party along with their great intelligence very few of the other barbarian hordes could resist them. They did this to keep the hunger of the males in check so the tribe would not turn on itself again. While the woman remained in the last untouched Family Tree the wyld did not, or could not change.

They formed the link that kept the memories of the tribe alive all the way back to the beginning thanks to the links with the tree. It was this link and defined purpose that made their tribe less susceptible to the change than the other tribes were. Even though part of Creation was consumed by the Wyld, their forest moved closer to it. Remaining just outside the reach of the Wyld. They fought with the more twisted of Creations.

One of their number has recently Exalted as a Lunar after fending off a large attack by several tribes while the food gatherers made it to the safety of the hanging city. So far from Creation and the other Lunar Exalted she could not last long and slowly the Wyld has been corrupting her. Even with the tentative attention of the female priestesses of the tree they are fighting a losing battle. Her name is Jalha’ai (roughly translated as to being of that line) to the Fae she is known as Beautiful Laughing Madness.

Their tribal stories tell of the Jalha’s Lunar mate and how close they were together. And she is worshipped that the Tree Mother will be returning to them soon. Even she is excited that she will meet their greatest ancestor. But greatly saddened because their forms have changed so much and she herself is so effected by the Wyld. They where preparing the small city for the arrival of the Tree Mother when disaster struck when metal men appeared from the forest. They had saws and drills and they cut down the forest. Responding to defend the trees their primitive weapons where no match against such a force.

The trees fell and branches shattered taking dozens of homes and hundreds of the tribe falling to their deaths on the forest floor below. Saving what she could Jalha’ai rallied the warriors and several houses of food bearers away from the carnage and further south. Following the old song line she remembered from another age. And memories of another forest like their own. With the loss of the Family Tree the wyld effected them further. Unable to hold back their urges they swept down like a ravenous horde.

Several villages where attacked in Halta and one of their more distant temples which the stories of the Elua held to have the other Family Tree. Rebuilding their homes distant from the other Haltan cities. There where about 500 warriors and 1,000 food bearers and growers left out of a population that numbered nearly 20,000 only a few days before. Their continued existence looks bleak if they are not able to find a new Family Tree to regain control over the wyld that wants them. As they become more effected their ability to reason and see clearly are being lost. In a few weeks there will be nothing left that separates the Elua from the other wyld tainted hordes.

Known since the earliest days of the Time of Glory and into the High First Age the Unshaped known as the Dancing Eternal Dragons is very active for an Unshaped. Having traversed Creations parameter since its inception, bound with an insatiable desire to know how it works. Though she has never crossed beyond Sundraprisha and looked at Creation from the inside, she has watched others do it. For her, Creation is a puzzle that she wants to completely understand.

Of all the Unshaped the Creation-born have dealt with she is one of the easiest to approach. So long as they come bearing knowledge of Creation she had yet to learn of she is willing to let the Shaped Raksha challenge her. Those whom bring her something truly unique are more rewarded than others. To what end she will use this knowledge for none can guess. Some assume it so that she can destroy it in one fell swoop. Others are not so sure because they note changes where taking place within the realm the Unshaped inhabits.

Besides the ruling emanations there are thousands of lesser fae that make inhabit the domains of the Emanations. Beautiful creatures based off human form. Some mixed with animal. Some mixed with elemental themes. And others birthed only from the madness that could define the Unshaped. A few have keys hidden inside their essence patterns that open the prisons of other horrors that could damage even the Wyld. A custodian and care taker of knowledge.

Others where once shaped fae who gave themselves to the Unshaped so that they could gain such knowledge for themselves and become part of its plans and machinations. These once fae inhabit the castle of Dancing Soil and enact her bidding. Passing out commands to the other Emanations and fulfilling other seemingly random orders that benefits the Unshaped on some level.

In the Time of Glory it was she the Primordials came to when they had to deal with their Unshaped cousins. She knew secrets others could not know. Hid them in essence patterns within her own domains. Or sent them into the deepest regions of pure chaos where they would not be disturbed. When the Solar Exalted came to power again she was approached and offered trinkets and other things of Creation if she would reveal to them deeper secrets of the Wyld. Or where those once horrible things could be used and tamed. She agreed occasionally when a particular danger was moved to Creation. Part of her always wanted to see such horrors prevail and unmake the shaped form. But it never came to pass and she contented herself with gaining more knowledge that would help her complete her goal. But not even she knew entirely what that was to be. Nor does she still this far into the Second Age.

'''Imperative''': To guide the other emanations into understanding of how Creation works.

Dancing Soil is the ruling emanation of the Unshaped. It is by her will that all the other emanations seek out the esoteric knowledge of Creation. She does not hate Creation as the other Unshaped. Nor does she want to bring them all into the Wyld so they can receive its blessing. Her understanding and that of the greater Unshaped she represents comes from a deeper purpose. She feels as if something is changing. The stability of what she has come to represent to the Unshaped and to the other Emanations has created a change in the very structure of the Unshaped.

A great adamant egg has come into existence at the center of the Unshaped as recently formed and she has felt an overwhelming compunction to guard it against all others who might wish to harm the egg. She does not know what is inside it only that she needs to guard it until it hatches. Of all the Emanations she is the first to realize the further changes that are taking place within the boundaries of the Unshaped.

She appears to others as sliding and shifting rocks in the center of the way points that make up the Unshaped. In the center of this mass of stone is a castle which holds the adamant egg. When others come to face her in a quest she takes the form of a massive dragon made of soil with eyes of gemstones and antlers of stone. Her voice is musical and others can't help but stop and take notice of who she is. She is the one most willing to listen to the stories of Creation. Any who bring her a Gaian elemental can expect to be rewarded with a treasure from the deep wyld.

'''Imperative''': To watch how those in Creation grow and change

Dancing Leaves is the emanation of compassion. The source of all the Unshaped's love, compassion and understanding. It is to whom others can approach and bargain for aid and assistance. Dancing Leaves knows the desires of others and they approach her they see a beautiful forest with soft moss beneath their feet. Brightly colored flowers sprouting every where. Immense trees all around them standing tall and proud. A gentle whisper and the rustling of leaves. In the center of these woods is a small pond in which fantastic things swim. For while it may look small it holds far more water than many lakes within Creations borders.

She comes to others in the form of a great dragon coiling through the branches of the many trees. Brilliant emerald scales covered with moss, flowers and vines. Antlers made of the softest felt. With eyes the color of the richest life giving soil. Her scent causes others to do anything for her most gentle of caresses. When she takes a human form is that of a woman with light green skin. Long brown hair woven with vines and flowers. She goes without clothes so others always underestimate her.

For the Unshaped she exists to help others grow and adapt by exposing them to new things. Teaching them of the Wyld and of the earliest things to leave. Of how Creation came into being. Of things that where lost and how they can be found again. Questing with her is not as arduous as it is with the other emanations. Though she is one of the last emanations any questor faces when challenging the Unshaped. She makes them face all they consider to be true. Showing compassion to them by removing the veil that conceals all the lies of their existence.

'''Imperative''': To watch over the other Emanations that they hold true to the singular vision

One of the most beautiful structures that can be formed in the Wyld is held within the Unshaped and it is the dominion of Dancing Breeze, the Air Guardian. Emanation of conviction. It is a breath taking palace made of clouds, gossamer and crystal. Bridges and elegant spirals look as if they would break if one put to much pressure against it. Out of reach of most that come into the body of the Unshaped. Few ever meet Dancing Breeze for he ensures that the other Emanations stay true to what they seek. Whenever something new is learned Dancing Breeze records it within his palace. Constantly comparing it to other facts. He is the Unshaped's primary artificer. Capable of performing great feats of Wyld shaping that the other Emanations use to defend themselves against Questing fae.

Most of the time he is invisible. Barely perceptible movements in the air hint at his passing. When there are outsiders within the Unshaped this is how he walks amongst them. Unseen and undetected. Learning what they do not plan to share. Judging their actions by inscrutable old laws he and the other emanations agreed on long ago. He never takes part in quests for his nature does not involve dealing with outsiders but he grows by being amongst them.

'''Imperative''': To judge the virtues of Creation-born

Dancing Waves is the emanations of temperance. Her domain is a large serene lake. All the virtues of those who gaze into the water are revealed to those who look. Many are not prepared for what they see in the water and just blame it on the trickeries of the Wyld. But there is no lies. Only the truth of the actions. At the bottom of the lake some claim to see a palace of coral and sea shell. It is to those virtuous souls that she comes to the surface. Her form is made entirely of water. The draconic shape clearly visible. Her antlers are made out of the purest blue sapphire. Her voice washes over those who come to the edge of her domain.

It is the nature of Dancing Waves to use her water and her magic to probe the questor of their virtues. Judging and accepting the reality based on how strong of heart they are. Those who look into the mirror and do not have a strong heart supported by great virtues will find themselves changed forever and unable to return to Creation. Those who are strong enough to resist the waters of Dancing Waves find themselves in a position of discovery and enlightenment. If they are strong of heart they will have earned their reward.

'''Imperative''': To ensure that Creation-born have the strength to cement their reality

Dancing Flames is the emanation of valor. He is the most militant of the Unshaped's emanations. His domain is an inferno of cracked earth, burning trees, boiling water and smoke choked air. The most hostile domain the encircle the entire Unshaped in a ring of fire that others must pass through in order to be judged worthy of meeting with the other emanations. He walks through the fires of his dominion as a tall humanoid with obsidian skin. His hair and beard are made of flames. His eyes are like molten stone. He carries with him a blade that could rend whole swaths of Creation if he directed his fires to. Forged by all of the Emanations in all that they learned about Creation. It is the greatest weapon in their arsenal and one they guard jealousy.

When one approaches the Unshaped all they see is a ring of fire. And no matter how high they go the fire will always bar their path. To enter the body of the Unshaped one must speak aloud their intentions to why they have come. They sacrifice an object of Creation to the fires with a promise of another gift. Only then will the fires part and the first trial has begun. He tests those who seek the knowledge the Unshaped contains. Only through enforcing their own reality and overcoming the fires of doubt will they find the proper path through the burning maze. The maze can be as short as a few hundred feet for those of sufficient reality to dozens or hundreds of miles to those who struggle with their own doubts and reality. Those who give up are lost to the fires becoming fuel for it to burn.

'''Dancing Laughter, Way Dragon – Way Grace''' 
'''Imperative''': To define the boundaries of the Unshaped

A relatively new emanation for the Unshaped. He represents her continuing evolution and change into something potentially much more. Developed as her obsession with Creation increased. His creation effects the others by defining where they are within the Unshaped. It is through him that the others aline themselves properly. Because of his existence the others have noticed that essence flows more harmoniously between them in paths and geomantic patterns. Along with that they have not quite developed poles yet. This is a new process that each of them is learning about as time progresses and the internal space is reorganized.

He never takes part in questing or interacting with others. None have seen him but the other emanations to know what he looks and acts like. But they all know his presence is needed for them to continue to grow and develop.

== Passing through the gateway of Sundraprisha ==

There comes a time when the Unshaped realizes that in order to take those last steps towards achieving something new. She needs to take the step herself and pass through the gateway of Sundraprisha and assume a shaped form. Preserving all her knowledge in great behemoths shaped solely for that purpose and locked within great adamant egg no force could open but shrunk it down to smaller than a chickens egg.

She takes the form of an Ornamental Raksha. Attaching herself to those who show her their secrets. Promising to love them and do anything for them so long as they can teach her. And when they have nothing left to teach her she moves on. They know this when they first meet and yet even the wisest men would trade all of their knowledge for a single night with her. Each of those she takes knows she does not truly love them only the knowledge they possess. But speaking to those who have encountered her say that her rose scent, soft skin and gentle moans made it all worth it.

She knows that by taking this form and all that she has already accomplished the end of her goal is in sight. This is an important time for her and she will work and help anyone that is willing to share their knowledge with her.

== Cracking the Adamant Eggs ==

It has all come down to this moment. Thousands of years of searching. Collecting knowledge. Sorting truth from lie. She has once more returned to the Wyld and gave up her shaped form. The first of the eggs hatch and the behemoths return to her all the knowledge she once add. But her internal arrangement of her emanations is different. More precise. More compact. All the Emanations have gathered in the center. All the fae so bound to her. Essence is drawn in from the Wyld for dozens of miles in each direction. So much so that the Wyld recedes from the borders of Creation revealing things long sought lost. Thousands of barbarians die in those moments. And dozens if not hundreds of Fae are trapped all over Creation.

But that central egg hatches and all is revealed. The core of the Unshaped as become the core of a new Primordial. The Dragons are elevated to a new status as the Wyld rages in terrible primal storms at the birth of a new entity. The waypoints and structures within her domain collapse and compress inwards forming the structure of the new Primordial. A great and beautiful Dragon emerges. A being based completely on the experiences of a living natural world.

Returning to Creation she will bless those that aided her in her journey. Returning to them all that was lost and more. And now she stands at a cross roads. Remain within Creation and see to the very thing that birthed her. Or leave like the others have to create her own. Like her entire existence her decision will be shaped by the events that she experiences while in Creation.

The Tournament of the Sun was held in the First Age to commemorate the last Solar Exalted to die in the Primordial War. Fighting a now forgotten Primordial the Solar last his weapon as he fell from the sky. The ground rushed up to meet him and his blade struck the peak of this new jagged shard and a powerful waterfall erupted with the disruption of essence and the Solar fell. With all of his essence spent he climbed that jagged peak by his mortal attributes and reclaimed his weapon. Jumping into the Primordial, knowing it would bring his death he struck the final blow. Honored in Creation’s largest funeral the body lay in repose at the Fortress of the Unconquered Sun when it was still on Meru.

Every 100 years one of the Unconquered Sun’s maidens was sent to Creation to gather those Solar’s who had best lived to what the Unconquered Sun had imagined for his Chosen. They are presented with Orichalcum talismans that gained them entrance to the Tournament of the Sun. A series of challenges that are designed to imitate the last moments of the Solar Legend. With the last challenge with the final two Solar climbing the shattered peak to the powerful daiklave that the Unconquered Sun forges a blade for each tournament so each is unique in appearance and power.

The challenges for the PCs will be unmodified since charm and essence use is not allowed. Any Solar that attempts to win by using charms is struck by the circling celestial airship.

Winner of the tournament earns the right to wield Testament of the Righteous Sovereign.

Within the Daystar is an order of Priestesses, whispers speak of Solar Half-Castes lifted to the state of Godhood known as the Sisterhood of Light maintain the devotions the Unconquered Sun finds most pleasing. Each century the tournament was held one of the chaste goddesses was chosen to become the bride of the one who won the tournament.

The Tournament is going to take place in the South with the talismans getting them and the rest of the Circle through the gates of Yu-Shan to make their way to the south.

This tournament is different than the others in that at the end the Unconquered Sun and the Maidens announce their marriage. The one who wins the tournament will be the Sword-Bearer for the Unconquered Sun during the Wedding.

Being that this is the first tournament in such a long the security around the grounds will be much higher than it was in a previous age.

Reasons for other Exalted to be there:

- Solars are chosen to be invited to the tournament and are the default protagonists of this game and the game is focused around them.

- Abyssals could be there for a number of reasons. Many will be renegades seeking to restore themselves and live once again as the Solar Exalted. For this game will be just as much of Redemption than anything else.

- Sidereal would be at the tournament as they are advisors within Yu-Shan itself. And with the wedding after the tournament. Most will be Gold Faction sidereal, though I would not be against a Bronze Faction being assigned out of spite. While they cannot participate directly in the tournament there will be much for them to do.

- Lunars as they are drawn to their mates are perhaps the least reason to be at the tournament and why I am leaning to only including 1 Lunar into the mix.

Iyanna the Celestial Singer - In the Sisterhood of Light she sings the morning prayers from the tallest minaret. Her skin is like the black ebony streaked with veins of orichalcum. Her long hair and eyes are also of Orichalcum. She dresses in clothing that appears to be reminiscent of those worn in Harborhead.

Benefits of the Bride: 
- Helps to mitigate the Great Curse in that they can only ever gain 1 point of limit per day. 
- While resting the Solar recovers essence twice as fast and allows the Solar to recover essence in places they generally cannot, such as the Underworld at the normal rate.

Herald of the Daystar

When the tournament begins the Herald of the Daystar descends from the sky and land at the center of the grounds. The automaton is ornate standing eight foot tall. The plates of orichalcum are plated in a white metal and murals are painted upon them. On its shoulder guards are immense star bursts guarded by two ornately wrought lions. It carries the blade of the forgotten hero. Within its chest burns a part of the sun. Many believe the Herald is powered by the soul of that slain Solar taken by the Unconquered Sun before it could enter Lethe. Binding the smallest part of his power to the soul and encased it within a suit of artifact armor constructed by Autochthon the Herald as served since.

In the First Age the Herald was sent to Creation in order to correct the earliest deviant behavior of the Solar Exalted. He was also sent to the start of tournament. As wore on and the excesses of the Solar Exalted grew the Herald was seen less and less. Two centuries before the Usurpation the Herald did not appear, no tournament was held. Since that time the Herald has been dormant within the Daystar waiting to be called upon once more to stand over the tournament as the voice of the Unconquered Sun.

Deep within the mechanical core of the Herald the soul of that hero remembers and a vow has been made that should the Solar Exalted repeat their past mistakes that he will lead an army against them. This tournament he will use to judge the emergent Solars.

Forged by the Unconquered Sun in the heart of the Daystar. Bound with the terrible and righteous heat of the Sun. The weapon is a testament to the Sun and inlaid with imagery of the Daystar and with star bursts. Even while it is idle the sword radiates the warmth of a summer day at noon. When it is wielded in battle the sword burns with the heat of the Daystar casting out all darkness.

The daiklaive was made of the Solar Exalted and other Exalt that attempts to wield the blade counts as a severity 4 offense against Heaven and the Unconquered Sun and within the hour forces of the Aerial Legion will descend upon the Exalt in an attempt to reclaim the weapon so that it can once again be claimed by a Solar Exalt. Because of Heaven’s attention to the weapon the Solar that wields the weapon is also watched to see if they uphold the virtues of the Unconquered Sun. Should their behavior deviate to far (Such as the limit break) from what is accepted they face the same task force of Heaven as it is sent to retrieve the weapon.

When wielded by a Solar Champion the weapon is one the greatest ever forged. Any thing trying to strike at the Solar that is considered a Creature of Darkness fails their essence being purged before it can ever strike the Solar making all charms used by demons, the dead and the fae fail against the defenses of the charm. Any ghost, demon or fae that is killed by this weapon cannot reform and is destroyed forever. Though the Abyssal and Infernal Exalted must pay 3 additional motes to their charms to strike the wielder of the weapon.

It lay forgotten on the borders of Creation since the end of the Primordial War. Shaped by the creators of Existance to fight the traitorous gods and their Exalted armies. For all its soul-forged might it could not tip the scales in favor of the Creators. And when it was lost near the end of the great war. Only a few sought to look for it, but none ever found it.

Some think the behemoth could never function again. For some of the Primordials who helped to shape it are now dead. Others believe that such deaths have freed it of control so that it could be influenced by others who are not a Primordial. Though that could be countered by having a will of its own. Seeking its own destiny in a new and different age. One that has forgotten its very existance.

The Sky Iris is one of the few behemoths that does not have a mortal animal based off of it. Or if it did it was either destroyed in the fires of She Who Lives In Her Name. Or put to the sword by the victorous exalted at wars end. It is shaped like a massive disk. At the cardinal points are large downward pointing, arched spires. In between each of those arches where other smaller ones that encircled the entire disk.

Floating in the center of the empty disk is a smooth sphere etched with Old Realm characters. It's organic frame is fluted and there are many recesses in its hull. In the war bio and soul weapons where grafted into the ships hull. All linked together in a complex neural system. The entire behemoth was alive.

Its central eye that floated freely in the center of the disk was its most potent weapon. Converting light and heat into a concentrated beam that could melt a glacier, boil away a small sea. Turn grass lands into deserts. But that was taking and it had to heal after each time it used that attack. And that was how it was beaten. Forced to use it to many times until its defenses failed and the Exalted managed to ground it. Once it was on the ground it was no longer a threat. Before the Exalted could return to finish it off the war ended and the behemoth was lost to the sight of the Exalted and to Heaven.

Among its defenses was a potent shield of essence that could deflect all other attacks. So long as the shield was up the behemoth could not die. Engraved and shaped into its hull where wards to defend against the wyld. This weapon was ment to be able to survive at all costs. Its interior hallways and passages where also armed to defend against any boarding party. For in the days of the war it was crewed by Lintha and other races loyal to the Primordials.

It could also emit a column of light from the entire interior surface area its disk enclosed. Passing over an area full of life it could siphon the living things into it to nurish itself and its crew. But the area below would be scarred and battered for a long time to come until the dragon-lines could heal it all.

It still has the personal effects of the last crew that died in its final battles littered amongst the personele chambers where they where brutally cut down by Dragon-Blooded and the mortal armies of the Solar Exalted. The control chamber is located within one of the main spires of the behemoth where the bonded captain could direct the primordial. Her corpse is still bonded in the chair. Death to death, and the behemoth sleeps. If new life where to sit in the chair. Then life calls to life and the behemoth awakens.

In the Primordial Age of Glory humanity had already caught the attention of many Primordials. Kimbery showed the others how humanity could come to express components of what that Primordial found most pleasing to the eye. And so it was that the Silver Forest took this into consideration that helped him finally decide to act. Looking to the East in the massive forests that Gaia and her lover Cytherea had grown he found humans that revered the forests and the trees. They where patient hunters blending in with their surroundings as if they where not there, waiting for days if needed before finally striking at their intended targets.

He came to these people in the form of a large ash tree with roots that extended all across Creation. And whose branches seemed to brush against the sky vault. The tribal elders where gathered and a path through the great tree was revealed to them. From the tree hung vines bearing fruit with each piece bearing a seed of knowledge that helped Creation take root. When the path stopped they where within a great cavern somewhere inside the trunk of the great tree. Here there was another forest and the ground was covered in moss. Water poured from knot holes high above and collected into crystal clear ponds. Trees of every kind grew here and it was here that Szoreny spoke. From the center the tree moved. Two of its branches became arms. Its eyes glowing a brilliant silver color.

He spoke to them and promised to teach them all the secrets of the forest and the world. To become princes of all they surveyed and to carry his glory all across the east of Creation. For it was his plan to spread his roots to the deepest parts of Creation. Its new fountainhead, the anchor to which all of Creation would be based around. Confronted with one of the Makers and promised such glory and power all the tribal elders agreed to his offer. He hung the elders from ash trees for three days as his silver blood mixed with their own. To instill in them loyalty and as a mark of their promise an ash spear with a silver head impaled in their side. For three days they hung from the branches of the Great Tree and when they finally were let down they had become radically different. No longer entirely human. The silver blood of a Primordial coursed through their veins now.

Unlike Kimbery he did not offer any part of his soul hierarchy to power their expanding civilization. Cities of shaped wood and stood anchored to the eldest of trees. Monuments to the World Tree were omnipresent from the capitol to the smallest of towns in their expanding domain. A side effect of the silver blood they became taller and more broad in the shoulders. Adopting the coloration's of the forest they became the perfect hunters. Status was only be the hunt, birth ment nothing to them. To become respected they had to show great patience and hunting ability.

When the youth of the Silver Touched where ready to become adults they where instructed to forge a spear with a shaft of ash and the head of silver. The only ash trees deemed acceptable by the elders was found in the depths of the forest where the roots of the World Tree have pushed close to the surface. But there was danger there with the great beasts the Primordials seeded the world with. And the silver was mined from the roots themselves. Cutting into the bark the silver blood would flow which was poisonous and deadly until forged, many youths dying in the process. But once the blood hardened it was worked and shaped into a spear head. Each youth needed to forge their own spear. And when it was complete they where bound to an ash tree for three days and impaled with the spirit. It was this ritual that awakened their primordial blood and made them more than just mere humans in the eyes of the Makers.

In time their empire covered much of the East. The great Forest Lords stood nearly 10 feet tall. Ancient and wise as the oldest of trees. Many sat inert for decades in contemplation on the nature of Creation and the cycles the Primordials had woven into all of existence. But when the war came the Silver Blooded answer the call of the World Tree and displayed for the first time all they had learned. Entire forests imbued with the power of the World Tree. The warriors wore armor of living bark enhancing their might to compare against the Warstriders and other power armor of the Exalted and treacherous Mountain Folk. For all their might they could not change the course of the war and when the World Tree was banished so too were they changed.

When Szoreny was exiled the World Tree hit the outer most shells and fragmented. No longer a single tree but smaller and less impressive conglomeration of trees that reflected his former nature. The metal from the body of Malfeas and his own silver blood covered the once majestic tree into a forest of silver. Landing with the remnants of the mighty crown in the prison of the exiles.

The inversion of the World Tree shattered the civilization of the Silver Blooded. Where the World Tree once dwelt in Creation now where terrible gaping wounds. His pain and transformation effected them just as the collapse of Kimbery devastated the Lintha. But their change was far more drastic and would become the stuff of nightmares that still haunts Creation to the Second Age.

Without the guiding power of the World Tree their own primordial blood revolted in spontaneous change. Their skin became a thick and leathery hide. Moss covered scales covered part of their back, long dagger sharp talons came from thick and broad fingers. Huge mouths open to reveal three rows on the top and bottom of razor sharp teeth that could cut a full grown man in half with a single bite. Even though their civilization had collapsed they retreated into the forests of the east and with the effects wrought upon them they where nearly impossible to find.

And for an age they remained dormant the eldest of them sprouting roots of their own as years of sediment covered them and they became more than mere mortals. In their long sleep they did not notice the events of the Usurptation or the Great Contagion and the Fae invasion that ended the First Age. It was nearly nearly a century after those events that the youngest crawled out from the dirt and looked upon all that has changed. In time they came together. The Grove of the Ancients is where the eldest of them became as trees. And it was the basis of their new civilization. One that for the last 750 years has been a terror in the East.

In the century after the Contagion and the Invasion ended the soil of the east began to shift as the dormant race rose once again into awareness of the world around. For the first time in nearly four millennium that they had walked Creation and for them time had barely seemed to pass in the long hibernation. The Grove of the Ancients had taken root and grown tall and proud. The cluster of trees had grown tightly together that the branches and the crown where all interlace. Beneath the protective canopy the remnants of the once great civilization dedicated to the eternal growth of the World Tree now seemed to be little more than a collection of monsters. They were twisted and warped with the banishment of the World Tree. But they where determined to rebuild all that they lost.

For those first few decades they stalked silently in the shadows of the eastern forests for the relics of the civilization that they had lost. Buried under a lot of growth and hidden under the roots of trees thousands of years old the ruins of the capitol where found. Taking what relics they could back to the grove where they could be stored and revered safely. During this time they uncovered the sleeping forms of the others and awakened them through long rituals that drew their minds back into their bodies. For when they slept their spirits danced in the reflective mirrors of the Silver Forest. As they shaped and rebuilt their home their actions slowly awakened the elders once more. Their altered natures allowed their roots to touch the branches of the Silver Forest and in this way they could learn his will and enact further reaching plans that came with the long outlook.

Despite the warping effects of their bodies their minds remained intact though diminished. They have always been a proud race after all they where able to accomplish on their own in the Time of Glory. In those early years they focused on rebuilding since their technology was never based on the soul hierarchy of their patron but from the secrets he had shared with them. It was from these secrets they regrew their weapons and armor for the Grove was a manse that not only helped shield them from the prying eyes of heaven but its organic nature allowed them to build and shape much like the magi-tech factories of the High First Age. But they moved slowly and carefully as to avoid any unwanted attention from those who would want to destroy them.

They where fortunate that their patron was not so consumed by hate and violence as the other Yozi that completely twisted those who followed them. For them they where motivated by revenge against Creation, the Exalted and most of all the treacherous gods who now inhabited Yu-Shan itself. Open war was impossible for them it was something they could not survive and the Silver Forest understood that. And so they became the insidious whispers in the East. In remote villages and the survivors of decimated cities tried to exist within the forests of the East they came to them. Whispering promises of safety, good health, plentiful food and water. All they needed to do was worship the World Tree so that its roots might heal and take root in Creation once again. The villages that listened where shown how to survive. How to shape the land and pull a bountiful harvest from the canopy. Each village shaman was hung from the branches of a tree with a silver headed spear in their side. And so the cults of the World Tree took root in the east.

Were they once valued patience and hunting status was now determined by the number and size of the flourishing cults spread out across the East. Each of them acting as the voice of the World Tree to their completely mortal charges. The central tree in each cult village could be used to call upon aid. And it is to the merit that the Silver Touched answer every important summons. Fulfilling their oaths so the cults can grow.

Others have felt the hate of the exiles more clearly and do not see the merit in fostering the cults of the World Tree. And it is with this small group many who have heard of them base their opinions on. To the folk of Creation they where terrible god-monsters once men who fought on the side of the Primordials and where cursed by the Exalted champions. Now they have returned to feast on Creation. They target the cults of prominent regional gods and devouring or torturing their victims. Those they leave alive are branded with the Old Realm glyphs of traitor. Prayers to the Primordials cut into the flesh which drives mad any lesser god who views them. And in this way they weaken the faith humanity places in their godly companions. By showing the mortals directly the gods cannot protect them, that Creation is this way because the Primordials are not exiled they bring some to believe that Creation would be better served with their return. Taken out of the hands of the Exalted and lazy gods who no longer care about Creation and only concerned with their own decadence.

Few in Creation realize the lingering threat the possess for their plans have taken millennia to shape and prune. The cult of the World Tree has spread far and wide. Providing succor and nourishment to anyone who willing enters into the cult. Were once families starved now they had more food than they could ever dream. Villages besieged and haunted by the Fae are rendered safe with the bindings the Primordials used to keep the Wyld out long ago. Shamans emerge from the dunes to a lost caravan. Water wells up around their feet and an oasis grows quickly. All they need to do is understand the World Tree will provide and nourish Creation were as the others have neglected and abused it. In the west a simple family vessel carrying all their worldly possessions is about to be ruined by approaching Lintha ships. The cultists are there to invoke ancient prayers that put to sleep the infernal worms pulling the vessels. Not even other yozi cults truly recognize what they are doing as more and more trees spread over Creation whose roots touch the branches of the Silver Forest.

Who is to say what happens when that network of Creation spanning trees is formed. Looking at it from high above the oasis of trees all across Creation are spread out and planted in such a way to invoke certain principles in the foundation of Creation that would allow the Silver Forest to return once the prayers at each tree are recited together.

In the distant Age of Glory the Primordials lorded over Creation from their palaces in the Heavenly City of Yu-Shan. Creation was always touched by their presence or the discarded projects they have left behind once they grew bored with it. Not every thing crafted by the makers was inimical to human life nor did it make the job of the gods any harder to complete. The Lonely Man was one such discarded project of the an unknown Primordial that was left behind in the coldest reaches of the north.

In the fallen Second Age almost no one even knows of the existence of the Lonely Man but they all feel his presence. Each twang of regret, of loss and sorrow calls out to him. That cold touch is something every one has felt at one time. But he takes no joy in what Creation feels in those moments.

In the far north there is a great valley where the run off of great glaciers create a cold deep lake it is where the Lonely Man's "palace" is a ice capped island in the center of the lake. Some say it the ice came from the Lonely Mans tears as they froze in the cold air of the north. The entrance to his home is a large crack in the ice that leads into a grand gallery. Frozen into the ice are the greatest moments of sorrow and regret known to Creation. Beyond the gallery is the Hall of Tears and the Tapestries of the Fallen.

But the journey is not an easy one for the guests of the Lonely Man for they are forced to confront all the darkest moments of their lives as it is reflected in the ice. And glimpses of what could have been had they made other choices through out their life. The ice always shows the best outcome of all their choices to remind them of their own failures. In this way the Lonely Man is forced to watch as others lose all hope and become all but shaped ice filled with regret as their minds are locked inwards. These statues are taken to the Hall of Tears for the remainder of existence. No one has ever recovered from the creeping ice though if one could resolve all of their conflicting emotions they would reach a transcendent emotional state and break free of the ice.

Should one make it into the heart of the palace they find the Lonely Man sitting upon the throne of Reflected Emotion. He his roughly man shaped but 30 feet tall with long white hair and beard. His eyes are glacier blue and his breath comes out in frozen puffs of emotions left behind. He was long ago bound to the throne by ice he cannot break for it comes from the tears of emotions not resolved.

Most of those who know of him stay away for they are aware and afraid of his power and they do not want to end up as ice covered sculptures in his palace until time ends. For some his command of emotions is enough for them to tempt fate and brave the trek north and then the perils of his palace. For most they end up as a permanent part of the palace. Through out history some have withstood the emotional upheaval of the palace and spoke to him as they gained a powerful insight and understanding of emotion they could manipulate in others.

It was from him that the Solar Exalted crippled She Who Lives in Her Name with such emotion she withdrew from the war for decades. It was from him that the Sidereal could hope to employ in their effort to rid Creation of the corrupted Solar Exalted during the Great Uprising. And it are these moments and others that are frozen into the walls of the Palace. It torments him greatly that they used his power to cause so much sorrow. But he understands that is the only thing he can ever bring.

This charm was far more common in the First Age than it is in the Second. If a Solar was with their Lunar mate they would never be without a weapon in which to defend their mate or their territory. The sword produced seems to be grown, shaped by the experiences the Lunar as had with their solar. The stronger the bond with the solar the greater the weapon will become. When the Solar calls upon the power of this charm the Lunar's chest glows with the light of Luna upon touching the chest the grip emerges and the Solar pulls the blade free ready to use it.

The weapon produced with this charm is a daiklaive with the following stats. Speed 5, Defense (Lunars Compassion), Accuracy (Lunars Conviction), Rate (Lunars Temperance), Base Damage (Lunars Bond rating + Valor). In order for the charm to work the Lunar must have a natural positive intimacy that cannot have been brought on by charms and a Solar Bond rating. The Solar must also have a positive intimacy to their Lunar Mate in order for the connection to be strong enough for the blade to crystallize.

Should the Lunar die with this charm active the blade vanishes and the Solar is filled with a terrible pain. The Solar immediately loses 1 dot of willpower from the shock of the sudden loss of his mate. Both are aware of each others current health and situation. And they cannot go beyond essence x100 yards of each other. If the Solar develops Bond-Forged Weapon first then the Lunar gains one of the By (Virtue) Forged charms as a training effect.

In the First Age not every mated pair between the Solar and Lunar Exalted resulted terrible crimes being committed by the Solar Exalted. In a few cases true love existed between them and the charms soon developed that allowed the Solar to enhance his mate with a level of his own greatness. Others sound these charms distasteful since they believed no Solar owes anyone anything. So many who knew these charms did not display them around a group of other Solars.

When the Solar activates this charm essence floods the metaphysical bonds of the mated pair. The Solar is able to use her essence to fuel the power of the his mates charms. At essence 5 he is able to channel the might of his excellencies to increase his mates chances of success.

Some Solars took to enhancing their mates abilities further than others. It was these few close bonds that allowed the Senschals of the Sun-Kings to grow so numerous in the halls of Exalted power. When their mate was challenged by another the Solar would lend their aide to ensure their mate would surpass all those who slighted her honor.

This moves beyond the Solar merely providing essence and the use of excellencies on behalf of her mate. If her mate comes upon a challenge only the power of the Solar can access she can use her mates charms but the Solar pays for the essence and it counts as their charm use but the Lunar is still able to call upon her own talents later if she needs too.

But for some the first attack by their mate would prove more than enough for any other military force brought with the mated pair would prove more than sufficient against the threat into their territory.

When a Lunar activates DBT and any gifts associated with that form the Solar will pay the motes of the transformation to ensure their mate remains at full combat readiness. Furthermore the Solars own magnificence shines forth. Abilities granted are dependent on the Solars caste.

There are 4 versions of this charm that a Lunar can activate when the Solar calls upon the blade. They can only choose one virtue on how they activate they blade. When governed by Compassion the Bond-Forged Blade glows softly with a gentle light of Luna as a mother and a protector. The Solar finds the blade guides his hand to deflect incoming attacks. And the health of his mate flowing through his body when the blade is drawn.

At the most basic version of this charms compassion the Lunar enhances the blades defensive nature for 2 motes per point of defense increased. Also at its most basic level the Lunar is able to exchange health levels if her mate gets injured in the fighting. Though she now bares the wounds but can use her own gifts to heal the injuries or have another heal her.

When forged by Conviction the blade takes on a more lethal quality. The will to survive at all costs comes to the fore. Sheathed in the light of Luna in her Half Moon aspect. For every 2 motes spent the Lunar is able to increase the accuracy of the weapon. In addition she is able to boost her mates armor soak through weakening her own defenses. For every 2 points of soak she sacrifices her mates soak is increased by one.

When forged by the Temperance the blade becomes one of moderation. Becoming quicker than before to bring down the opponent as quickly as possible with as little harm to the Solar as possible. For every 2 motes spent the Lunar can increase the weapons rate. For the 5 motes she is able to negate her mates DV penalties once per tick.

When forged by Valor the blade is given to raw fury of Luna in her full moon phase. All that remains now is the death of the opponent for violating their territory. The blades edge is honed to inflict the most amount of damage possible. For every mote the lunar spends the damage of the weapon is increased by 1.

At no time can the Lunar spend more motes than her Stamina+Essence to increase a given stat of the Bond-Forged blade. If the Lunar develops this charm first the Solar automatically acquires Bond-Forged Blade as a training effect.

For all versions of this charm the anima of the Solar becomes ethereal taking on the qualities of her Lunar mates banner.

This charm expands its prerequisite charm and focuses the Lunar's reserve of will in order to bring about the effects for that virtue. It costs a virtue channel to harness the power of this charm but it helps to keep the pair alive.

The compassion upgrade that allows the Lunar to channel her healing gifts through the Bond-Forged Sword. She must pay and commit the motes to keep them in effect for her mate.

The Conviction upgrade of this charm allows the Lunar to channel her soak enhancing gifts to her solar mate. But the motes remain committed .

The Temperance upgrade of this charm allows the Lunar to channel her speed and parry gifts to her solar mate. But the motes remain committed.

There are few things that can stop the power of a Solar and Lunar working together. It brought low the Primordials and expanded the very borders of Creation. When so pressed the Lunar is able to push the boundaries of what is possible between the mated pair. Such effects are rare indeed even in the First Age when mates spent much more time together.

Like the other charms the Lunar as access to there are different paths the Lunar can follow to boost the Bond-Forged Blade. Pushing the limits of what will be possible. When used to defend Creation from outside threats the cost of the effects decreases by 1. Used outside of Creation enhancing the blade cost no additional motes.

2 motes: Makes the blade deal aggravated damage against Creatures of Darkness, Death and of the Wyld.
4 motes: When the Solar causes damage the Solar can reflexively pay 5 motes to causing a crippling effect of their choice against their opponent.
4 motes: Allows the Solar that inflicts damage against an opponent to drain a number of motes from their opponents pool equal to the Solars essence rating.
6 motes: Allows the Solar to adjust the tags of the weapon. It can now take the form of other types of weapons with all the appropriate tags.

And that there was a power in that energy that could be tapped into a more usable form. One of the earliest scholars known as the Yautol the Radiant. It was she who began the first cartography of Creation. The pterok traveled across Creation taking notes and compiling it all into a series of books on geomancy that even in the First Age would have given insights into how essence flowed across Creation.

After her journey was completed she returned to her home and began another intense period of study and understanding. She did not live to see her project finished but her next life continued her work. And for five generations they worked to complete the great work. And when they where finished was a map made of the finest paper and inlaid with fine wires of Jade and the Celestial Metals. When exposed to an area long enough the map attuned itself the region revealing all the dragon lines has they moved across Creation.

She created a stylus out of each of the magical metals that could interact with the wires inside the paper. Over the course of weeks with constant work the geomancer could draw the essence together to form a new demense. Because Yautol the Radiant was very conscience about the continued stability of Creation it will not let the geomancer form demenses that adversely effect the surrounding geomancy. And to the extent that it cannot create Underworld, Infernal or Shinma inspired demenses. It gives the power to the geomancer to unweave such patterns in the fabric of Creation.

When the geomancer arrives at an area that they wish to shape into a new demense they begin the ritual that attunes the map the area. By spending a week at the site they make an Intelligence + Occult roll, one roll represents a day of work and they need to accrue a total of 30 successes to bring the map into harmony with the surrounding area.

It shows which lines of essence are dominant in the area. To use a stylus they need to make a prayer roll to the entity that essence is infused with. The Unconquered Sun for solar essence. Luna for the Lunar essence. With a difficulty based on the strength the demense to be created x2. So to create a level five demense the prayer roll would be at difficulty 10, with additional successes needed based on the available type of essence. In an area where the essence is strong it is determined by the ST if there is a reduction in the difficulty.

If the prayer roll is successful the demense forms in a number of weeks equal to the rating of the demense. It was not in Yautol’s outlook to shift the essence of Creation so dramatically and suddenly.

To shift the essence away from a manse so it ceases to function is a more complex task to keep it from exploding. By rolling Int+Lore against the difficulty of the manses rating x2 can they begin to shift the essence. This roll is made every week for a number of weeks equal to the rating of the manse. Once the final roll is made the manse loses power and completely shuts down. In order to keep the effect going the geomancer cannot go very far from the manse or it restarts with the manse gaining a level of its demense back per week. Unless the ritual was designed to only take a portion of its power.

The tattoo's she bears are complex and cover more of her skin than most other Lunars with the moonsilver becoming tarnished and smeared with colors.

'''History''': Despite her age Tides has relatively little experience than others of her age. She was born during the waning years of the Solar Deliberative into a proud Lintha family in Refuge. Little to her knowledge the machinations of two Solar Exalted had converged. A Lunar was murdered, his celestial exaltation freed. Directed by the Solar towards Refuge to seek out a Lintha host. It was during this time that the woman who Tides once was, had started her rites of adulthood. A great beast was released by the Solar Exalted as it attacked the ships her family were using at that time. Fighting against all odds for her own survival and that of her families she was Exalted as a Lunar.

It was then that her Solar mate came for her and took her away from the only home she has ever known. Already bordering on Infernalism the Solar taught her much about Creation and of Prison of the Exiles. Most interesting to her was the fate of Kimbery the Great Mother. It was during her studies that the Usurpation happened and she abandoned her Solar Mate. Escaping into the greatest depths of the ocean she found a passage into Malfeas and the seas of Kimbery. There she offered herself to the Great Mother and was remade into Blood Dimmed Tides.

After the Investiture of Infernal Glory, Blood Dimmed Tides prowled the endless oceans of Kimbery in an effort to become the perfect sea predator. She hunted anything that swam in those depths. Learning from that which she couldn't eat at that time. Her knowledge of the oceans and the life they supported grew tremendously and at times Kimbery sent her into a deep hibernation to keep that primal hunter subdued until needed. She slept for centuries at a time her dreams filled with images of the hunt until at last the call was received for her to awaken and make ready.

Placed in charge of a young coven of Infernal Exalted to both captain and helm the vessel Covenant of the Mother at the order of Kimbery and the architects of the Reclamation. It is through the Akuma that the Yozi watch their newest soldiers. Though her Urge compels her to hunt the other has her see to the welfare of the emergent Lintha nation.

The Nightmare Engine, found on board a derelict vessel that was taken back to Bluehaven. It is made out of Soulsteel and other components and seems to have some sort of sentience bound into its shell. It stands as tall as a Common Warstrider with smooth organic shapes with wicked barbs and hooks growing out of it. Sitting on its shoulders is a skull and set into the left eye socket is a perfect sphere of soulsteel. Its hands are massive claws that are wreathed in essence when it is active.

Ng Tharini is one of the aspects of the ancient homeland of the Old Empire of the Lintha. She is the Sister-Wife of Ng Oroo. Ng Tharini is roughly diamond shaped on her upper most plate and a blend of bio-sorcery and primordial magic. Composed of several layers the behemoth-city served the Lintha as a way to spawn the slave races infused with the blood of the Great Mother that were created to serve the Lintha.

The living city of D’deri Na grew from the City-Plain on the largest open space of Ng Tharini. Made of organic crystal and other materials forged by the behemoth. It was here the savants of the Old Empire created the species that would serve the greater Empire from these control grotto's the signals were sent to the Womb-Caves and other places through out the City-Behemoth.

Along her longest sides Ng Tharini has six total Womb-Caves spread down the flanks of the behemoth-city. They all connect to the central chamber where all of the bio-sorcery takes places and from this place the organic material and essence patterns are sent to the Womb-Caves where the finished creatures emerge from Ng Tharini and ready to serve the Lintha.

During the war Ng Tharini created many of the monsters and creatures the Lintha used to fight the Solars and to destroy the human villages. Such was her skill and the guidance of the Lintha they had such a fine degree of control over what they made thanks to the blood of the Great Mother. At wars end Ng Tharini and her Lintha cousins was targeted by the Solars for all that they were responsible for during the war. They concentrated their wrath on the section of the continent that Ng Tharini inhabited and sheered it off into the sea.

Drifting helplessly to the sea floor cut off from Kimbery and her Sister-Wife Ng Oroo she was doomed to die rapidly and a lone. Before she lost total control of her essence and the cave-wombs. She set the last of her commands in place and birthed a stronger breed of singers that could shape essence and the sea. Without her connection to them or no connection to the mother she set in the last of a series of biological commands before her higher functions drifted into a coma.

The singers did as they were meant to do. Their songs and their ability to shape essence on a primal instinctual level allowed them to channel essence into Ng Tharini so that she did not completely die. It is just enough essence to keep her ancient heart beating and those decaying systems going. Though it only prolonged that death the Solars thought to inflict upon her and now the systems continue to decay and Ng Tharini is closer to death than she has ever been before.

A command from Kimbery sent into Creation had her shift one of those massive tentacles that once linked her to Ng Oroo to break the crust allowing new water and essence pour into her resting spot a long with giving an entry for others to enter. Only time will tell the fate of Ng Tharini.
