Spend 4 Will. Breathe out out a freezing mist. Everyone in a cone out to close range of you (generally this hits enemies in close range and not allies, but if for some reason you/your allies are stuck in between two groups of enemies there’s a tradeoff between hitting both enemies and not hitting allies). Everyone in the mist must roll to resist a one-time environmental hazard at difficulty (Sagacity) and damage (Essence) health levels. The mist lasts for (Sagacity) rounds, imposing a -3 penalty to attempts to see things through the mist.
Sorcery (Breath of Mela): Everyone who fails suffers a -3 penalty to all actions for a number of rounds equal to the number of successes they fail by, not stacking with the penalty to vision.
Necromancy (Breath of the Abyss): Instead of dealing damage, the environmental hazard costs the enemy motes. If they have no motes, it costs them double the damage that would be dealt in power

== Curtain of Quartz ==

''A shimmering globe of minute crystals is called up from the earth and floats in the air around the sorcerer reflecting light away from her to make her nearly invisible.''

Spend 3 Will. For a scene, this spell provides the sorcerer with magical concealment as the Curtain of Quartz renders her unseen. Beyond short range noticing the sorcerer requires an Investigation or Awareness roll against a difficulty of 3 + the sorcerer's Essence. For each range increment from medium range on between the scrutinizing character and the sorcerer their roll suffers a cumulative -1 penalty. So someone at long range would take a -2 to to their roll to perceive the sorcerer. If the sorcerer's anima is 5 or higher this spell only provides mundane concealment akin to a smoke cloud in terms of its effectiveness.

== Incantation of Effective Restoration ==

''A boon to treasure hunters and scholars of ancient lore, this spell removes the ravages of time from inanimate objects.''

Spend 4 Will. Any damage suffered or deterioration from age are magically reversed, making the item pristine as it was the day it was first crafted. The sorcerer can affect any mundane object so long as it is a single object, and it is no larger than a person and she has at least half of what remains of the item. This spell can be used as part of a venture to repair a damaged artifact or repurpose the remains of a broken artifact to be used in crafting a new Artifact. This still requires the sorcerer to have Wonder-Crafting Initiation. If used this way, casting this spell counts as completing one base obstacle.

== Invulernable Skin of Bronze ==

''The sorcerer suffuses the void between her skin and the surrounding air with Essence, weaving a second skin of shining bronze, supple and flexible as silk but cold and impervious as any magical material.''

Spend 5 Will. A magical casing of bronze forms over the sorcerer’s body and lasts until she next sleeps. Her bronze skin is heavy—she will sink in water or mud, and fragile surfaces won’t support her weight. While this spell is active, the sorcerer is considered to be wearing light artifact armor and treats her natural attacks as light artifact weapons. The sorcerer can repurchase this spell to unlock Evocations for the artifact armor or artifact weapons granted by this spell. However, any such Evocations are only available while the spell is active.

== Stormwind Rider ==

''Bending the winds to her will, the sorcerer creates a servile dust devil to ride.''

Spend 4 Will. The Stormwind Rider is treated as a flying mount that can travel no more than short range above the ground. It can carry the sorcerer and up to the sorcerer’s Essence in additional passengers or 100 pounds of cargo in place of a single passenger. It travels at nearly 100 miles per hour and is agile enough to maneuver through forests and cities. Attacks against those within the effect of the spell suffer a -2 penalty though if stuck with a decisive attack they are knocked out of the whirlwind and may suffer falling damage.

== Eye of the Black Boar ==
Spend 6 Will. Choose a point within medium range. An orb of utter darkness appears there, drawing everything nearby towards it and forcing it to the ground. All people and unsecured objects within short range of it are drawn into close range. Make an Area of Effect Knockdown gambit against every enemy so drawn in, using stats of a light weapon and rolled with Force+Sagacity, that does not cost Power. When people so effected try to stand up, you may roll to oppose them with Force+Sagacity. When everyone knocked down has stood up, the eye closes and the spell ends

== Borrowing the Spear ==
Spend 6 Will. The sorcerer summons a spear made of red light, with stars twinkling within. This counts as a medium artifact weapon (accuracy 2, damage 1), with the Close Combat, One-Handed, Reaching and Piercing tags. When used to make a Reveal Weakness gambit, the Sorcerer may spend Will in the place of Power, and may reduce Soak by 3 instead of 2. This spear can only be summoned while in battle, and lasts for as long as that battle lasts.
